1.1.1
Small behind-the-scenes update. On first launch you may see a tracking permission prompt — it helps us reach more desk workers via ads. Saying no doesn't change a single thing in the app. Bug fixes and stability improvements throughout.

1.2
Version 1.2 is the biggest update to Walkfare since launch. WALK NOW Tap Walk now, pick 3, 5, 7, or 10 minutes, then walk. When the timer hits zero, claim a small reveal: a fresh stat about the walk you didn't see coming. Could be your fastest pace this week, the first walk on this date all year, a new street you've never stepped on, or a milestone in your lifetime kilometres. Watch users can start a session from the wrist if the phone is in the other room. A Live Activity on the iPhone shows the countdown so you can lock the screen and just walk. LIFETIME MAP A fourth tab. Every outdoor walk paints itself onto a personal map of the streets you've walked. Backfills from your past 60 days of outdoor walks in Apple Health on first launch, then quietly grows from there. The more you walk a street, the brighter the line. QUIET CHECK-INS Walkfare can now send a friendly "you have been sitting a while" notification during your waking hours. Curated pool of plain-spoken messages. Stays quiet for 90 minutes after any walk and during your Focus modes. EVERYTHING ELSE • Reveal History timeline in Settings so you can revisit any reveal • Configurable Walk now session length in Settings (3, 5, 7, or 10 minutes) • Walking-pace recognition is sharper. The classifier now ignores gym-context workouts so between-set walking doesn't show up as a real walk • Step count totals now match the system Health app exactly, so iPhone-in-pocket steps stop disappearing on Watch users • Loads of small fixes throughout REMOVED Plan a Walk has been retired. Walk now does the same job in a way that fits more days.

1.2.2
Three small but real fixes from real-world testing. After a walk, your step count now updates the moment Watch data syncs in. No more staring at "Counting steps…" wondering if the app forgot. The session card was redesigned to match the visual weight of the reveal below it. Reveals about new streets are more accurate. They now check your full lifetime map history, not just micro-walk routes, so a street you walk every day will not be claimed as new. Fixed a rare crash in the in-progress walk Live Activity that could stop your widgets from refreshing.
-
1.2.3
Quieter, more useful notifications, plus the fixes you asked for. Walk-now buttons on the Lock Screen. The sedentary, off-pace, and good-weather nudges now arrive with a "Start 3-min walk" action. Tap it and the timer is running. A calmer cadence. Pro's off-pace check is twice a day (13:00 and 17:00) instead of four times. Free stays at one (18:00). Nothing between 9 PM and 6 AM. A new opt-in good-weather nudge. One gentle ping when the weather is clearly nice and you still have steps to go. Off by default; turn it on in onboarding or Settings. Your numbers now line up everywhere. Step count matches across the app, your widgets, and your wrist, and the Lock Screen widget no longer shows a zero. Indoor and treadmill walks are accurate now, with the right distance, pace, and calories. Plus: sharper "new street" reveals, your count updates the moment your wrist syncs after a walk, and a fix for a rare crash in the in-progress walk Live Activity.

1.2.4
Your step count now matches the Health app. If you wear both your phone and your watch, on some days Walkfare was adding the two together, so your total ran high. Now it picks one source for each part of the day, so the number you see lines up with your Health data everywhere: the app, your widgets, and your wrist. We also rebuilt walk reminders behind the scenes. They are decided the moment they would fire, from your live step count, so they land at better moments and stay quiet the rest of the time. Every walk counts.

1.3
Walkfare 1.3 is a full redesign. Every screen, rebuilt. - A new look: sea glass teal, warm amber, and a cleaner dark canvas - Today opens with one bold card: your steps, distance, and minutes together - Week has a real chart now: seven days, your goal line, and the days you hit it - Your streak is visible to everyone, free. Repairing a missed day is part of Pro - The reveal after each short walk was rebuilt from scratch. It finally feels like a prize - The map counts the kilometers of streets you have painted - New in Settings: rate Walkfare, and a clearer view of your plan - Plus plenty of small fixes: consistent number formatting, correct weekly walk minutes, and sharper charts
-
1.3.1
A calmer Today, and a Coach that finally answers. - Today was redesigned around the number that matters most: your walking minutes. Steps, distance, and pace sit right beside it, no clutter. - Ask the Coach a real question, like your best day last week, your longest walk, or how many steps you have left today, and it answers from your own walking history instead of guessing. Thanks for walking with us.

1.4
Walkfare 1.4 is a complete resistance-first redesign. - Your exact daily step goal is now the surface of a living water world. - Apple Health is the only authority that closes the day. - A frosted discipline core moves from below the surface to above it only after Health confirms the goal. - “Not feeling it” now builds your full case for comfort, asks “What else?”, and ends with a truthful personal win or sourced reframe. - Week shows seven factual closed, missed, open, rest, and sick states. - Explicit rest and sick days are neutral and never guessed. - Daily System gives you control over notification windows, volume, and one fixed voice. - Resistance Mirror gives one qualifying personal insight free, with evolving pattern history in Pro. - Apple Watch, widgets, and complications now share the same daily state. - Reduced Motion preserves every outcome without continuous animation.
