"title": "Great idea but terrible execution",
"body": "While the app looks very pretty and quite functional (technically speaking), it leaves a lot to be desired. It asks me the start up questions EVERY time I open it, THEN it allows me to log in and view my progress. It would be nice to be able to sign in right away, even as a first time user, BEFORE asking me why I want to sing. I speak at an alto level but often sing at a Soprano level. Even when I got it to understand that my range is more soprano, it constantly tried to get me to sing lower (often to the point that it hurt to try). There is no way to manually adjust the range to fit me. It is supposed to make it easier to hear the tones I can sing to in any song, not just to be able to match the tone the song is in. I often match the song I’m singing but I wanted to learn to harmonize better. It would be nice to be able to jump to that kind of lesson. I don’t need to know where my voice is or how to match the song or how to fit with a different tempo (the songs often feel faster than the original versions, making it hard to get a breath in). I wanted to learn to find harmony but I wasn’t about to wade through basic beginners lessons on how to START singing. Even when I answered the start up questions as if I had a lot of background in singing and did it all the time, there was not a direct choice of lesson that led me to learn about harmonies.",

"body": "personally, when i was using this app it was clear to me that the singing portion is very inaccurate. i switched between mezzo and alto in the app and there was simply no difference in the way the lyrics were “supposed” to be sung. it kept wanting me to sing HIGH soprano notes which IS not in my voice range. voice detection is also another terrible flaw in the app, i literally have to strain my voice just for it to pick it up. overall ive taken singing classes in the past and i know only certain notes work with certain voices. this app isn’t designed correctly to help anyone get “better” at singing its simply just unrealistic.",

"body": "I signed up for a 3 day free trial and was immediately charged $6. The subscription didn’t show up in my Apple subscriptions and I had to find the receipt and go through multiple steps to cancel. The lessons were terrible, AI generated, and built for little children. Really this just feels like data mining to train AI voices. It says you have to complete 12 songs before they can give you any feedback on your voice. The voice detection barely worked and the sound coming out was muffled and spotty and really hard to hear. I thought this might be fun, but it was weird and annoying and not free!",
