5/5Top quality training and tech support!
I downloaded the free version of Erol Singer’s Studio over 11 years ago, in 2013. I loved it, so I went ahead and bought additional features and exercises. I finally ended up buying the perpetual use version, and loved it even more! I worked with it on a daily basis, and it most definitely did wonders for my ear training, pitch, range and overall singing expertise. I took a break from it for the past few years, focused on getting a degree and working. When I came back, I saw that a subscription was needed to use all the features I had been using. I contacted Erol Suppot and Arda replied immediately. She said that all original users who had purchased the perpetual version would be grandfathered in by simply pressing “restore purchases.” It worked, and I now have full access to the app and all the training exercises! I highly recommend this app as the best singing app available (I have tired a few others, and they can’t compare). They also have the best tech support who really responds to individual problems and concerns. All the training exercises can be adjusted to your particular range, and they give you instant feedback about how you did. It’s almost like having a voice teacher on hand whenever you need them! If I didn’t have the full access because of the purchase I made 11 years ago, I would still pay the $50 a year for full use of the app. It really is the best singing app available, in my opinion.

5/5The best voice training app I've found
Update: this app is still awesome. It’s a great exercise to do as part of your morning routine. Gets the voice loosened up and wakes you up. Also, I am using it to help keep my vocal chords strong after treatment for throat cancer. My doctor said it’s an awesome thing to do, better than the exercises they gave me (but not great for non singers ;) Old review: I usually can't be bothered to write app reviews, but I will make an exception for an app that has demonstrably improved my life in some way. This app is one of those apps. I've tried many voice training apps, and this one takes the cake. I actually looked up the app in the app store to leave a plea for the developer to update the app so that it continues to work (I was getting a message saying that this app will not work with future iOS updates.) I was THRILLED to see a message in the app's description telling me not to worry, a big update is on the way. The only advice I would give is to keep adding exercises to keep it interesting. If you added actual songs? Ooh baby! Also, anything you could do to gamify it so we can really see how we're improving over time would be delicious gravy. Great app! 5 stars! Bravo! Bellisimo!

5/5LOVE IT but...
It’s amazing. The best vocal app ever. If you aren’t that serious about singing it could even substitute for a teacher. If you are serious, I recommend using this in combination with a teacher. It has improved my pitch better than anything else. This has been a miracle for my ear. But: wish you could include blues and other types of scales for contemporary music. Additionally, the new update is cool in that it is a lesson plan with unlocking levels but since I am a more experienced singer I’d like to just pick and choose which exercises I’m doing on a given day. I don’t like to have to follow a certain plan if I know what exercises might be most useful on a certain day. The app’s last version made it easier to sift through which exercises I would do because you could see them laid out for each lesson which you can’t do anymore. Other than that, it’s great. But please bring back the catalog approach and please include different scales (e.g., blues) so I could ensure I’m learning that on pitch as well.

5/5Great app once you learn to tune it to your voice
It took a hot minute for me to figure out how to tune it to my voice I’m brand new to vocals and had no idea what my range was. So female singer here and I had it set to male baritone and was just bombing and let the app hang out on my phone. Gave it a go and messed around and figured out how to set it to my voice . I am not sure it’s quite right because it doesn’t seem to have an auto detect feature for your voice type. It feels like the exercises are closer though to my voice. I have just started using this app consistently like daily for maybe 3 weeks now and my vocal teacher has said she hears and sees a significant difference and improvement in my voice and posture when I sing. I recommend this app if you have any experience already and or a vocal coach. As a brand new person with no experience the app for me was awkward for figuring out my voice but once that got dialed it was smooth sailing.

5/5Incredible!
I rarely ever leave reviews, but after using this app for a few days I felt it more than deserved a positive one. I've been playing and writing music since I was 10. I have taken piano and vocal lessons and I can honestly say that this app is more helpful than vocal lessons in that it saves $$ and makes it possible to get a visual representation of where you are and where you need to be. My vocal lessons were $25 per half hour and the first 15 mins or so were always dedicated to the breathing exercises alone. I stopped after a few days of lessons because $ was tight. This app costs less than a 30 min session and I have already improved my vocal technique tremendously. Thank you.
