   Literally am so in love with this app!!! Only one problem, your suppost to be getting “points” for making appointments at your favorite places but I’ve made literally 6 appointments and I still have no points so that’s pretty annoying but other than that it lets me look around at other places that I never knew about before and lets me find places near me and also gives me money off of services while booking through the app! I love it but again the only thing I don’t like is I’m not getting points, and I’m not really sure what points would do but if a developer sees this could you please let me know how to get my points? Because I’ve gone to the appointments I’ve made on the app and I thought maybe after you went to the appointment you’d get the points but that’s not working either! Anyway if your looking for fun things to try around your area and get a discount while doing so definitely check out this app! It’s amazing and it lets you give the people and the places reviews also! Give it a try you’ll love it!

   I've been using the Vagaro app for over a year now to find services like massages, fitness classes, lash extensions, and mani/pedi spots across the U.S., and it’s been awesome! I can easily search on any location and book appointments in the app, which is especially convenient when I'm traveling. One of the standout features for me is the ability to track past appointments. This helps me remember which services I loved and when I last visited a particular location, making it easier for me to rebook. Additionally, the bookmarking feature is useful; I can save my favorite places for quick reference, and save possibilities in locations where I have upcoming travel, which saves time when I'm looking for services in a specific area and after normal business hours. No waiting for the next day! The app's interface is user-friendly which is saying a lot b/c I’m generally not the best. Overall, Vagaro has streamlined my experience in finding and booking wellness services, and I appreciate its practicality for my self-care routine. If you’re looking for an app to help manage appointments and discover local businesses, Vagaro is it!

3. 3/5Not the best software

   As a previous software engineer, I can say that there are some bugs to the software of this app & mobile site that need to be addressed. Mainly, the back arrow in the top left corner doesn’t always work (I’ve found this after searching for a specific service, & selecting a salon to see their availability) — the arrow doesn’t work & you have to go back to the homepage & start the search all over again. This is also an issue on the mobile website, in addition to the problem of if you select a business to check availability and then go back, it reloads the search results page and takes you back to the top, so unless you open the business page in a new tab, it’s very frustrating. And if you open it in a new tab, you have to login again. Also dislike that there isn’t the ability to search for a day but not a specific time when looking for something (if you have to put an exact time, this limits search results). Another thing that’s not helpful is that there is a large number of search results included which do not match the original type of service requested (I searched for an acrylic fill and all kinds of other things for massages, waxing & lashes show up). And finally, the most recent frustration is that I booked a service which required an acceptance from the nail technician… 2 hours before my appt, still no acceptance or communication of any kind. I called the number listed and no answer but received a text message asking if I could show up 30 minutes early and if not, I’d have to reschedule. I understand people are human and things happen. But I don’t think there should be an option to have to wait for acceptance before booking… if you aren’t certain of your availability, don’t list yourself & your available times on this kind of app, as it defeats the purpose of convenience & efficiency IMO.

   I’ve never rated an app before. Probably because I’ve never disliked an app as much as I dislike Vagaro. Unfortunately the yoga studio I attend only books through Vagaro, so I’m stuck using it. My yoga studio even admits that I’m not the first of their members who expresses frustration with it, which mystifies me even more as to why they insist on using it. I have an annual paid membership to my yoga studio and the enrollment process for classes is cumbersome and doesn’t make any sense. Buttons are hidden. I can’t progress to the next tab without frustration. The choices are NOT obvious. Each time I book a class on my paid annual membership I still have to go through the entire checkout process as if I am a one-time attendee. Really?! And then if I need to cancel a class… well, forget it. I’m better off just calling the studio and leaving a voice message that I need to cancel. And shopping cart? How do I access the shopping cart from the phone app? I don’t have that option…or it’s so well hidden that I can’t find it. I’m not new to membership apps in general. My old yoga studio (no longer open) had a different phone app for class sign up and it was great! What’s up Vagaro? You’re taking the fun (and relaxation) out of my yoga life.
