   Booked a service for my elder in laws and placed their address as their location of service. The stylist reached another address which had nothing to do with the booking, but the booking confirmation showing on the app showed the correct address I had entered. Then, the “booking professional”calls me and gives me “homework” (please cancel both the bookings, change profile, delete this and add that, etc. etc.) The booking professional said that if you have more than one address in your profile, the booking shows all or if gps location is on while scheduling the booking, the app picks up your location and adds it in addition to the address you list for service and not just the address where the customer has placed a booking for service. She said “Technical Glitch hai maam”. A mumbling customer care Rep called after and said “we provide the best service” and “Listen”. Zero clue of good service. Then I receive a WhatsApp message to ask if my issue was resolved. NO, it was not. Customer care just canceled both appointments and promised to refund. In laws waited for a service that they did not receive. Broken app to add and manage addresses, broken customer service, broken process for resolution. Resolution is to make customers happy by providing service as stated on time. A good resolution would have looked like this: Apologize for the terrible inconvenience, re-schedule the two appointments and have a stylist rush to the location within the next 2-3 hours max. Urban Company simply missed the ball by thinking 2calls which result in a refund is satisfactory service- Not so. HORRIBLE SERVICE AND ALL TYPES OF MISTAKES. SKIP AND DONT BOTHER WITH URBAN COMPANY AT ALL. I could not be more irate, more shocked, more disappointed that during a work day I am having to clean up their mess!!!

2. 1/5Spa service is not recommended, customer service is not helpful

   I purchased a 6 session massage services. Based on my experience, I recommend booking services with another company. For this reasons: 1. Professionals are not reliable in appointment time. At least twice, I have been contacted by the professionals (past the session start time) to let me know that i need to cancel and that they are unable to attend. 2. When you cancel ( as I did- based of the professional request), the sessions will be charged and to rebook, you will be charged the amount of a full session- instead !! 3. To go through customer service is another hassle, totally a waste of time! Their system is not functional as they can’t track all the transactions made. They asked me to provide a proof of payment, which I did. But still, they called back to let me know that payment was not made! 4. Professional behavior is questionable. As once, the professional called (10 minutes before session start time) to ask me to cancel as she can’t come as her husband is under going a surgery. I understand that. However, two hours after, she called me to let me know that she is by the door!! I was surprised, I told her that we spoke prior and that she said she couldn’t come due to a surgery to her husband, she then realized she was talking to the wrong customer and hanged up the call !! Total manipulation!!

   I made a booking for cleaning . The app says it charged me a specific amount but then my bank gets charged a higher amount . I end of cancelling the booking because the professional wouldn’t confirm that they would wear a mask, and even though it says that in their platform to wear a mask that doesn’t necessarily mean it happens. I did not trust this company to give me a refund if the professional refuse to wear a mask and I turn them away so I didn’t get a refund but only and the specific amount that the app showed and not for the full amount that I was actually charged from my bank. I have discussed this at length with my bank who is a very reputable bank, and they can’t figure it out other than they think it might be some be that the app does. The Urban Company says they’re looking into it but given the feedback that I’ve seen, I don’t have much faith . Luckily, it’s a small amount of money discrepancy but because of this I don’t trust them to use them again because next time the money that disappears could be higher

   I had heard about them on Instagram and fell for ads that an influencer posted. Please note that they’re either getting the service for free or are getting paid to say great things about the company. My experience was terrible! I booked urban company for a move out cleaning. I paid extra for deep cleaning, other add ons, and included tip. My cleaner (Angelique) arrived late. Within the first 15 minutes they tell us they have to leave because they need to go to the store and buy a grout cleaner meaning they were unprepared. We were there two of the 6+ hours they were scheduled for the cleaning clearing our garage. My dad shows up to our house an hour before they leave and tells me that the house isn’t fully cleaned. Only the kitchen was worked on. We then get a message from the cleaner saying that they couldn’t finish the job but hope we were still happy with what they did. Umm are you kidding me?! I paid for a service and expected my house to be cleaned from top to bottom. Our only saving grace was that we had one more day until the keys had to be turned in. We had to have other people clean our house because urban company customer service was difficult to get ahold of. They have provided a refund afterwards but it’s pending. At the end of the day it was not worth the headache and stress. Would not recommend.

5. 2/5A five star ac service that bombed.

   Being a stupid cancerian who likes to over maintain the equipment suddenly decided to call for a split ac service second time in 3 months. The over efficient new gen mech swiftly dismantelled the inside unit serviced & reinstalled within a period of an hour plus. On checking the cooling that looked fine & the efficiency of the job done I could not but give 5 stars for the entire job. The day went, night came & I checked into my bedroom switched on the ac & went to sleep. Next morning I found a pool of water that had fallen from the inside unit of the ac on to the TV below & finally on the floor. To cut the entire story short after contacting UC with great difficulty firstly there is no column anywhere where one can contact UC, secondly there is no column for complaints or suggestions ! On the fourth attempt & this time I — being a technical person sat with the mech and showed him that the inside unit has not been mounted properly that even a non technical person could observe it. All it required was to reinstall the inside unit back into its original slots & bingo the problem got over. I blame totally the system that requires the mechanics to have targets to meet hence mess up the jobs in their hurry. Plus the harassment and loss of a TV to the customer. 😔
