1. 4/5It’s not bad but questionable things on here.

   Hey, so this is a pretty good app actually. It makes people stand out to me. Like they put in depth bios and knowledge or make their character stand out. The problem isn’t the people, it’s the like/match system. No, I can be wrong since this is my first time trying to use a dating app but, why does it cost a subscription to try to match with people that like you? Why are we forced to pay for the main component of the whole point of the dating; talking to a potential match? Like I understand if it’s for scam checks or stuff like that but that seems pretty weird to me or too much as I say. And like, I can’t even see who my matches are and I got to pay for that too with the matching system. So I’m not too sure if this could but I’m going to say this and maybe hopefully it can change. Instead of not seeing our matches, we instead can see them, we get to talk/text for an hour and then when the time is up, we can either keep talking/texting or just move on with our lives. But if we don’t get along or be compatible with each other, we can say no and move on early. But if it’s vice versa, then we can do that. But as I have stated, this is my only problem with the app is just the matching system and likes. But if that isn’t possible then oh well, I tried at least. Thank you for reading this if you did :)

2. 5/5great app for putting yourself out there!!

   I downloaded this app, matched with a few guys, and dated a guy I met on here for a month! Even though it didn’t end up working out, I was really impressed to meet such a godly man on a dating app!! As with any dating app, be cautious with profiles and meeting up (let other people know where you are even if you’re a hermit and don’t tell people where you’re usually going like me😂). But anyway, a friend told me I should give this app a rating so here I am! If you’re looking to put yourself out there and potentially meet someone who loves Jesus, this app could be for you! It didn’t work out for me, but hey, I am thankful to have known the guy for even a short while! We both were blessed by each other, but I knew I needed to end the pursuit of the relationship when I felt like God was not leading us together. With that, I leave a message to the ladies that I needed to hear too: BE HONEST. Tell the guy where you’re at, even if he seems like he’s head over heals for you and you’re not quite there. HOLD EACH OTHER WITH OPEN HANDS. Let the Lord lead you!!! SEEK THE LORD. Ask Him to show you His will regarding the guy in your life. If God directs away from him, don’t drag the guy on. Communicate, end well, and say farewell. Anyway, maybe someone needs to hear this advice and maybe someone just needs to hear part of it. Blessings on you as you hold your desire for a relationship before the Lord!!

   I met the love of my life on this app June 2020 when it was formerly called FTH. I had tried Christian mingle, POF, Bumble, coffee meets bagel, and Facebook dating and this was by far my favorite app. I didn’t have as many matches but it was more quality. I liked how you had to mutually match and yes it took longer to match with people than other apps but I felt it was more intentional as you are less likely to to be tempted to go for someone who you know isn’t what your looking for just to have a match. I see now you can pay to subscribe to view who has liked you. I was on the app a few months before meeting my boyfriend. We matched and it took off instantly. We talked a month before meeting in person and that was it. February 8th will be 8 months together. The only issue I had at the time was distance locator. It did allow you to choose a range of preferred distance which was broad and then it said my boyfriend was 90 miles away.. try 125... lol but I am thankful it was wrong because had I known the real distance up front I probably wouldn’t have given him a chance. We make it work 2.5 hour drive is worth it and we are talking about relocating plans and moving forward towards possible engagement and marriage talk :) we are a success story. Also for the romantics out there.. it felt divine as the day we matched and he messaged me I actually had the app on pause because my father was passing away and the day he passed.. I got his message that night.. it somehow came through and I am so thankful for that.

4. 5/5CHASE AFTER GOD

   At the time I was focusing mainly on God and work because I didn’t wanna get into another relationship. I hadn’t had the best experiences in the past; partly on my behalf because I was chasing after looks and worldly satisfactions. Upward kept popping up on my tik tok and I just ignored it. One day I was kind of thinking about it as it popped up again. I downloaded it. Matched with a good amount of guys started chatting, and even went on a few dates . Like every other dating app you’re gonna have those bots, fake Christian’s, and just people that wanna sleep with you. I ended up matching with this guy who was really cute and his bio/ pictures caught my attention. Went on our first date and he was sweet. Went on another date and the way he spoke about God and family I found really attractive. It was the first time I had the thought of “I could see myself marrying this guy” vs “wonder how good he is with kissing”. He ended up asking me to be his girlfriend and ever since then we’ve been chasing God together, praying together and separately, sending each other daily Bible verses. Advice: If you’re idolizing dating apps get off. Chase after God and dive into the word and your future spouse will come up running beside you. Trust Gods plan and be patient. Give it all to God and ask him to take things where he wants them to go. Not where you want them to go.

5. 3/5like most dating apps

   I will say for a born again Christian this is probably the best app. The interface could be better but it flows alright. Just because I say it’s the best app, doesn’t really mean much other than if you’re going to waste your time on a dating app and have false hopes, this one isn’t so bad. I really love that there is the choice to do as much distance as possible. I say that because I am in LA, there are not many born again Christian’s here and I don’t want to be here anymore which means I’m happy to leave for someone worth while. I really dislike they have the option for what someone is looking for such as “casual 😉”, that literally doesn’t make sense to a Christians beliefs and values and it is a huge turn off. However, I’m not surprised because a lot of users aren’t Christian because they say they are “other” or “spiritual” or they are “Christian” but very clearly not born again, they are more Christian culture and are very much in the world. I say this is app is like most dating apps in the sense as it is hopeless! It seems whether you are living in the world or living by Gods standards and ways, the dating world is a pitiful place and no-thing happens or goes anywhere because people are too consumed by options and playing the game. As much as I want a family, I will put my focus on the Lord and at the end of the day that brings me the most peace and contentment. He will make a way if it’s meant to happen but I don’t think this app is apart of the plan.
