1. 1/5Nothing but nothing good about it! I

   Keep receiving emails Messages contact this one or the other but you have to subscribe. I wrote about the free usage and it’s not working. Everyone who has sent me a message or a like isn’t getting my messages back. I’m being forced to subscribe when they sent me an email stating I didn’t need to. I have no idea how this is working for anyone Maybe it’s all fake!! I’ve contacted support multiple times they’re telling me all the things I can do free I can’t do keep getting messages to subscribe I’ve no idea if anyone’s read my replies I don’t understand their ideas of smiles etc because they don’t come up without paying. I want to know I like it before I pay! Still I can’t see replies from people supposedly wanting to meet. Haven’t had a conversation. It’s a weird app needs to be simple to try it before paying! I can’t even get my twitter account verified & they removed a photo because it had another person in it meanwhile I’ve seen multiple people in other’s profiles! Get your app together I’m not paying for a nightmare mess Typical bait & switch sign up to see what your response is and nothing is there nobody is the same What a racket. Jumping through hoops to delete account It’s ridiculous Do. Not. Fall. For. It. How can they continuously give you perfect matches when you don’t even have a conversation with the first one. This app needs so much work. I’m trying to get it figured but it’s just not worth it otherwise I’d be happy to be a part of it but it’s a disaster!!

2. 3/5Disappointing. If ye are faint of heart, be forewarned, or else dashed upon the rocks.

   Fortunately, I have a healthy self-esteem, at least according to my head shrinker😆 Typically, I have no problems finding potential dates organically in the real world, but I can only imagine, at least from the male perspective, that anyone suffering from a low self-esteem would likely be crushed by this app. The response rate to sent “Likes” and messages is fairly abysmal. I travel a lot. I’ve been off and on Zoosk for well over a year now, sent hundreds of Likes with messages included and in multiple cities, and have yet to find a high quality mutual match, let alone land a single date using this app. Although, I hear it’s like this on all the other apps as well for regular joes or blokes, unless you’re a chad or verified multimillionaire. The platform itself is fairly straightforward and simple to use. However, if you’re usinga mobile device and need to do any editing in the narration sections, it can be a little tricky at times. I would recommend using a word processor/notepad sw app to do any narration editing and then cut and paste directly onto the app to save yourself from potential headaches or hiccups. You need to pay very good attention to the add-ons, extras, or upgrades, as they renew every month-and those fees can really start to add up. Overall, quite disappointing results. I suppose I’ll continue using for a little while longer, but I am nearly done. Nonetheless, in the end, it’s simply a numbers game and as they say, it only takes one. So, good luck to everyone.

3. 1/5Horrible app for personal likes/filters

   This app is good ONLY if you like an app that decides FOR you!! The so-called SMART PICK is about as ridiculously dumb as it gets. Out of the hundreds chosen (smartly) for me, not even one was acceptable. The CAROUSEL was just as ridiculous!!! When you choose to search, there is only ONE WAY AND IT ALWAYS STARTS AT THE BEGINNING, with no way to do anything but work through them one at a time with no other option!! I date exclusively Interracially, usually men who are anywhere from several years younger to around my age, and “my type” was NEVER—-not even once—in the CAROUSEL!! This app’s design is so basic and poor, they should be ashamed, and they’re one of the most expensive. I can not comprehend how they have the balls to remotely think their app is worth $35 per month!!!! I have used better apps in ALL aspects, who charge $15-$20 less per month. Save your money. They do not even deserve ONE STAR, but I had to give one star to write a review. They actual deserve NEGATIVE stars!!!!! Oh, and one more thing. I had not had any new messages for a few days until the day my profile expired. Then, all of a sudden, I had FIVE NEW messages, but I had to pay for my new subscription in order to read them. Can you say, “poor scamming marketing”?? Needless to say, I recognized it for what it was and deleted my profile. Zoosk is the ultimate worst!!!!!

   For starters the app is buggy. It will show the same profile three times in row, jump from one profile to the next without warning. Then there is the scam, first you always get to see the same profiles over and over again, either they only have two hundred members in nyc (??) or it’s part of their scam. Indeed, when using their search you’ll get to see the 200 or so lousy sometimes fake profiles, I would say 10% are fake, you must pay then more money to boost your visibility and unlock more profiles. If you’re using the Carousel roughly after ten rotations or so they block you from seeing more profiles and ask for more money to let you back in and discover new profiles. Then there is no matching effort whatsoever! You would think that after collecting all that data about what you like, your age, your location you would be matched with people accordingly. No, that doesn’t work either. If you want to spend $30/ m to try it good luck, but you may as well burn that money or better yet go out and have a drink with a higher probability of meeting someone on your own than through that app. At this point and without even using the app that much I’m capped, locked in that repetitive circle of two hundred profiles and cannot see new profiles.. I’m stuck and probably will be until my membership expires which should be next week. A total waste of time and money as for the other reviews?? Dunno? Paid, fake? Whatever they are they’re not telling the truth. If you want to try it don’t even think about getting it for more than a month, you’ll cut your losses!

5. 4/5A few rotten 🍎 in the bunch

   First of all, I’d love to say that I really enjoy this app. So far, I had met more than a few people that I can connect with. Also, I love the Carousel feature (which does not determine compatibility), as well as Super Send, which is quite effective when trying to initiate a conversation with people. Why not five stars you say? Well, have a seat and listen well kiddos. I had encountered quite a few fake profiles. It’s not obvious for many people, until a shady action occurs, such as immediate offers of a persons number or email without even requesting that information. Developers, I hope you are monitoring these fake profiles because it gives a member like me second thoughts about this app. I feel very discouraged when a 🤖 responds to my Super Send message, only to be discouraged more when that person does not respond in a week or more. In addition, I feel like there should be a feature that notifies the person that made a connection with me to either continue pursuing me, or not. Kind of like a “Do you still like him? Yes or no?” follow-up for more than, oh say, three to five days. I understand people are busy with their everyday lives, but it would be nice to be reminded that there is someone who can connect with that person, instead of just “viewing” each other. Let’s hope that there are more improvements for this app 👍
