   I give the app and store a rating of four stars instead of five because the new app is so different and doesn’t transfer between all stores. I am also disappointed that you no longer carry a lot of products that I used to use on a regular basis. My store is just 3 blocks from my home and I love how convenient it is ,but if I am going to have to go to another store in order to find items I use then I might as well buy all of my groceries at the store that carries more of the brands I like. I have seen comments on Facebook from many that feel the way I do about the changes . The verdict is still out on whether I will continue to shop here or give the competition a shot. I love all of the employees and how they try to see that everyone is happy and satisfied but some things are just out of their control. I will give it a few weeks to see how it goes. It’s a shame to such a nice little store change.

2. 2/5Same company, two apps?

   United Supermarkets and Market Street are owned by the same company, yet we have to have two different apps for them now? It makes no sense! When you first open the United app, it makes you select a location, and Market street locations show up on the available list. However, if you try to select a Market Street location, it tells you to download the new Market Street app. If United Supermarkets are the only option to use on the United supermarkets app, then why are Market Streets listed? Why do I have to have two different apps for the same company, almost identical ad, and the same coupons? It used to be one app, and the ad would switch depending on the store that was selected. It makes me not want to shop at either store, and they have been my primary stores for 16+ years now.

   Aside from the Great Customer Service they provide, I enjoy shopping at United Supermarket for the fact that they have the items they advertise in stock all the time. I’ve never had to get a rain-check.

4. 1/5Added Features in New App NOT Worth Inability to Use

   Despite prices being a bit higher at all United stores, I don’t mind because the customer service is almost always top notch. Their pharmacy is a million times better than Walgreens, but since the new update to all stores in my area along with the new app, I can’t even log in. I not only use it for myself but for my family. If I’m already logged into the app, why do I even need to login to the pharmacy portion if it’s combined? I’m beyond frustrated! I haven’t attempted to order pickup or delivery for food, but at this point, I’m not even going to attempt to. I’ll stick with Walmart & Target until app is fixed.

5. 1/5I’ll shop Walmart

   United has the highest prices in town, by far. Now the new app doesn’t show my rewards points, no longer offers savings, doesn’t show my gas rewards number and says there are no gas stations near me (there are several). It routes my orders to the wrong store which never has anything in stock and sells rotten meat. If this is the new experience, I’ll pass. Walmart will have 100% of my business from now on. United should hire an IT team who can actually do their job. I have a feeling after reading these reviews that they will lose a ton of business over this one. They’ve certainly lost me.
