1/5Not user friendly, sometimes very sluggish and unresponsive
Password expiration notices come while you are trying to do something else rather than a day or two in advance like other time trackers I have used. The program is sluggish to respond especially when signal strength is weak. It will allow a time punch when it can’t establish a connection with the server, but these punches are never merged into a time sheet when connectivity is re established. Randomly logs you out without warning, sometimes multiple times daily. Password resets take more time than they should because of slow responses from the service. Verification texts sometimes take longer to receive than the duration of the verification prompt occasionally requiring numerous attempts. Complaints about these issues go unanswered. If the choice were up to me we would not use this service.

My company implemented UKG for use over a year ago. We constantly have random issues with the program. I don’t know if it’s the need to do updates or what but the system has on multiple occasions locked employees out and will not allow password resets by the user which creates an unnecessary burden for HR. When punching in and out it will randomly not recognize or erase punch in/outs and a supervisor then has to either modify or add them manually. This creates extra work for supervisors to stop their already busy day to attend to UKG issues. Luckily my company does not use it yet for payroll but many other companies have had issues with payroll not being processed or stolen due to data breaches. There has to be safer, better, more consistent programs available. Ultimately I would not recommend UKG for any company to use.

2/5This is the MOBILE version of the app
Soooo it’s assumed that you are in the field and are on the go, ya need access to things fast and quick. So maybe make it so I don’t have to swipe and click around a lot to clock in and clock out. And who is there right mind told you to have it auto log you out before at least 30 mins. Once again, I’m on the go… I don’t really have time to log in again so I can clock back in from lunch. Make the mobile app easier for the people that use it, not harder. And the buttons not so tiny either. Once again I’m in the go and don’t have the time to sit and look and make sure I’m touching the right button. $0.2 BIG BUTTONS people. Most people that use the mobile app are on the go!!! And probably busy doing other things.

I am having nothing but scheduling issues with this system. Managers see one thing. We see another. System glitches left and right. It seems to ghost shifts. Or delete things with out your consent. I have had to file a couple scheduling grievances with this program for missed shifts, not getting paid correctly or other issues. I am really perturbed and frustrated with this system. This system generates a lot of extra work for management. There is quite a learning curve and training is set up more for leadership useage. Not user. A year later staff is still confused how to do the basics of it. I used this programs before with other companies and hate it so much. I am joining staff in abusing the system with twice as long breaks. I have one foot out the door and the fumes that kept me going are extinguished. I am running on borrowed time with my company. I decided to step school up next year and move on from this company.

1/5Too hard to clock in.
It is much harder and takes longer to get logged in, compared to other time clock apps that I have used. It took several weeks for us to even get it completely set up. There should be step by step instructions to get the app up and running, rather than having to send multiple emails and get answers one by one. There is no need in having to change the password every few months. I’m not trying protect Fort Knox. I just want to clock in and out. Why can’t we just stay logged in for at least one week at a time, rather than having to log in four times a day? It is definitely hard to do, when/if you are driving. Can you at least skim back on the password requirements for case sensitive, special character, and both letters & numbers? If this is asking too much, can you at least make a simpler app that will only allow clocking in and out?

Luckily my company does not use it yet for payroll but many other companies have had issues with payroll not being processed or stolen due to data breaches. There has to be safer, better, more consistent programs available. Ultimately I would not recommend UKG for any company to use.",

          "body": "Soooo it’s assumed that you are in the field and are on the go, ya need access to things fast and quick. So maybe make it so I don’t have to swipe and click around a lot to clock in and clock out. And who is there right mind told you to have it auto log you out before at least 30 mins. Once again, I’m on the go… I don’t really have time to log in again so I can clock back in from lunch. Make the mobile app easier for the people that use it, not harder. And the buttons not so tiny either. Once again I’m in the go and don’t have the time to sit and look and make sure I’m touching the right button. $0.2 BIG BUTTONS people. Most people that use the mobile app are on the go!!! And probably busy doing other things.",

          "body": "I am having nothing but scheduling issues with this system. Managers see one thing. We see another. System glitches left and right. It seems to ghost shifts. Or delete things with out your consent. I have had to file a couple scheduling grievances with this program for missed shifts, not getting paid correctly or other issues. I am really perturbed and frustrated with this system. This system generates a lot of extra work for management. There is quite a learning curve and training is set up more for leadership useage. Not user. A year later staff is still confused how to do the basics of it. I used this programs before with other companies and hate it so much. I am joining staff in abusing the system with twice as long breaks. I have one foot out the door and the fumes that kept me going are extinguished. I am running on borrowed time with my company. I decided to step school up next year and move on from this company.",

          "body": "It is much harder and takes longer to get logged in, compared to other time clock apps that I have used. It took several weeks for us to even get it completely set up. There should be step by step instructions to get the app up and running, rather than having to send multiple emails and get answers one by one. There is no need in having to change the password every few months. I’m not trying protect Fort Knox. I just want to clock in and out. Why can’t we just stay logged in for at least one week at a time, rather than having to log in four times a day? It is definitely hard to do, when/if you are driving. Can you at least skim back on the password requirements for case sensitive, special character, and both letters & numbers? If this is asking too much, can you at least make a simpler app that will only allow clocking in and out?",
