5/5Never a bad decision
I discovered Travelzoo back in the early 2000s. I was in law school and it was a way to dream about the future. I still regret talking myself out of a Mediterranean Cruise that was so affordable I told myself it couldn’t be real. Then one day, after years of looking, I took a chance. I had sponsored a lecture from a professor at Trinity College in Dublin and he invited me to visit. I saw a trip to Dublin with flight, a car and accommodations at the Ritz-Carlton Powerscourt for less than the price of a coach ticket to Ireland would usually be. The caveat was it required four people to book. I walked down the hallway to my directors office and asked if he and his wife want to go with my wife and I to Ireland for a week. He said he would think about it. I told him the price and he laughed. I told him it was at the Ritz-Carlton and he asked “Carlton with a K? Rits-Karlton?” I said nope it was the real thing-but we had to book that day. We did. It was the most amazing trip of our lives. We still talk about it. Since that first trip I have used Travelzoo for a dozen trips from overnight hotel deals that would have been way out to budget but for the incredible Travelzoo deal to business trips where I got a much better hotel much cheaper than booking through any other site. Every single trip has been so much more than I could have ever expected. If you are hesitant about trying Travelzoo because you think the deals sound too good to be true, take a chance. I did. I have never ever regretted it!

5/5Travelzoo is first place I search
I have used Travelzoo for over ten years and it is always my first app to search for travel deals. Ten years ago my husband and I celebrated our 25th anniversary and had blocked out 3 weeks in May for the trip. I scoured Travelzoo for months and was able to grab an incredible trip to Australia with flights included from U.S. and 2 flights in country plus 12 nights of great hotels the first week of May. My husband was nervous about not booking earlier but I knew that Travelzoo would come through! Have booked many great spa days in Chicago and excellent dinners on the App. Never been disappointed by the quality of the experience or the value that Travelzoo offered. Planning a 35th anniversary trip this May and know that Travelzoo will come up with an amazing trip deal for us.

5/5Travelzoo is TOPS
I have used Travelzoo all over the world and would never have considered some of my “adventures” if I would have had to pay full price! But, thanks to Travelzoo’s excellent deals, my husband and I have had a blast trying out Underwater scooters in Oahu to fancy dinners in Niagra Falls to tours in Italy and more!! I use other sites for deals, also, but Travelzoo sincerely tops them all from price to variety and I trust Travelzoo; I have never had any problems when using it. If you don’t use it, you are sure missing out on great deals and a lot of fun times and adventures!!!

4/5Would love a custom view
The deals are great and the search is good, too but I wish I could customize my view. It always has featured locations or vacation types and I can’t get rid of ones I’m not interested in. There are some destinations featured every week that I have no interest in, meanwhile it takes up real estate on the screen and causes me to need to scroll or search to get to what I want. I would love if it was more customizable and would show me more of what I want up front. Some people want family trips, some people want adults-only or independent travel. Some people love a cruise or beach resort vacation and some people only want to visit cities. The rest just becomes noise.

I have booked vacations through TravelZoo and had the most picture perfect dream vacations. In fact, I tell everyone I know to book through TravelZoo. Most recently, TravelZoo gave my Italy trip to Great Value Vacations to handle, and the experience was so poor that I am very apprehensive to book my next trip through TravelZoo again. I fear they may mismanage the trip by trusting a similar third party. Great Value Vacations Travel Agency was rude, argumentative, limited in trip activity options, and housed us in hotels remote from our trip destinations that were in unsafe neighborhoods, and full of black mold. They provided zero transportation options for my stay in a foreign country. I am hoping that TravelZoo can right the wrongs and help us return to our phenomenal vacation experiences.

A huge waste of time. They push supposed exclusive deals but they are not exclusive, you can simple go to the company direct. Worse they are often not even any money off. A waste of time and money. Notice how travelzoo don't reply to any bad reviews, tells you something.

It always has featured locations or vacation types and I can’t get rid of ones I’m not interested in. There are some destinations featured every week that I have no interest in, meanwhile it takes up real estate on the screen and causes me to need to scroll or search to get to what I want. I would love if it was more customizable and would show me more of what I want up front. Some people want family trips, some people want adults-only or independent travel. Some people love a cruise or beach resort vacation and some people only want to visit cities. The rest just becomes noise.",

Most recently, TravelZoo gave my Italy trip to Great Value Vacations to handle, and the experience was so poor that I am very apprehensive to book my next trip through TravelZoo again. I fear they may mismanage the trip by trusting a similar third party. Great Value Vacations Travel Agency was rude, argumentative, limited in trip activity options, and housed us in hotels remote from our trip destinations that were in unsafe neighborhoods, and full of black mold. They provided zero transportation options for my stay in a foreign country. I am hoping that TravelZoo can right the wrongs and help us return to our phenomenal vacation experiences.",
