5/5Free trial saved me $250!
I’ve only used the free trial but I’m pretty sure I’m just going to fully subscribe after this next trip. I already had a flight booked though southwest before finding this app, and during the free trial as I was exploring apps planning another trip, it alerted me that the price dropped on my previously booked flight! For a family of 4, that totaled $250 I was refunded by southwest! Super pumped - app is fantastic.

4/5Elite membership
I discovered this app through a coworker, and it’s been perfect for us as frequent travelers in retirement. My husband prefers business class for long international flights, so I upgraded to the $199 elite membership to get premium fare notifications. The app itself works beautifully. My only negative, and why it’s not 5 star: I can’t add my husband to receive alerts. Since he does most of our planning, it would be a welcome feature if the elite membership let us both get notifications, instead of me sending him multiple screenshots for every notification. Overall, this is one of my favorite travel apps, but it could be a five-star app with this additional feature.

1/5Useless. No syncing
The app only is functional as a shopping tool. The app DOES NOT sync or pull in trips that were created on the Going website. When you add a trip on the web, it doesn’t appear in the app. The app relies only on what you set up within the app itself. And you can’t even do that unless you set up unwanted alerts. The Going Help Center clarifies this limitation under "Common Membership Issues." It confirms that while Premium and Elite members have exclusive access to My Trips via the mobile app, the feature is tied specifically to setting alerts. It doesn’t allow viewing or syncing previously created web trips. In other words, you paid your money. you have an account. You can’t use your account using tha App. Absolutely unsatisfactory. Deleting app as it is essentially non-functional for tracking my preferred trips.

1/5Buggy and illogical
I was a long time subscriber to Scott’s Cheap Flights, although admittedly I haven’t had a paid subscription in the last year or so. I recently decided to give it another go after completing some recent travel that I booked on my own. Downloaded the app today after being prompted to do so through email and can already see this is not the service for me anymore. I prefer email to the app. I don’t need yet another app on my phone. And in particular I don’t need one that doesn’t work. Filters in the same category (for at least some) are treated as “and” rather than “or” leading to no return results. In addition, the app has constantly been crashing and I’ve only had it for a few hours. I will definitely be canceling this subscription prior to the end of the trial period.

1/5No Reminder for Free Trial Renewal, Not Worth the Money
I signed up for the free trial after seeing some advertising. I didn’t get to use the product but was forced to paid because I didn’t turn off auto renewal. There was no reminder for auto renewal which I was surprised considering that most of subscriptions apps would remind customers before the renewal date. I argued with the customer support but they kept diverting me to “App Store” and saying no way would they be able to refund me if I wanted a refund. It doesn’t seem like they wanted to help me get the refund at all. Overall I’m not happy with how this process went. I think the app should send notifications to customers and also be more customer friendly by self refunding the customer.

Nonstop app crashing and clearly I'm not the only one. Push out a fix already, it's been a few weeks. We are literally paying your engineers' salary?

A paid for service should work when I need it to. Like now. What is it? Your guys day off?

Tried to login this morning and the app won't sign in,gave me an "unexpected error". Edit: clearing the cache fixed the issue. But it's high time I left a review for the service anyway: the deals are mediocre... When there is a decent deal it's always on awkward days like leaving on a Tuesday and returning on Monday which doesn't work for the average working person. Rarely ever are there ever deals involving weekend travel. Prob won't renew the subscription as it's not worth the $40
