5/5Exceptional Insurance Company & Great App
I’ve been with Travelers for at least five years now and have always received exceptional assistance, fantastic coverage and fast & satisfying turnarounds on any claims or issues I’ve had. I honestly don’t think I will ever switch to a different insurance company even if I’m offered better savings. THAT’S how great this company is … truly worth every penny that you pay for your coverage! The app is, for the most part, easy to use. I make all of my payments through the app, discuss claims and receive information. It carries a copy of my Proof of Insurance so that I always have it with me should I need it and my payments are always credited swiftly and without any issues. It is a bit difficult to look up exactly what you’re insured for and what the coverage and co-pay amounts are and this is the only area I could wish for improvement as it’s very difficult to locate within the app. I don’t need that information very often so it hasn’t affected my app use. I’d recommend downloading their app if you carry Travelers Insurance no matter what type it is, rental, auto, etc. I’ve been very pleased with all aspects of this truly phenomenal company, including their helpful phone app, since I’ve become a Travelers Customer. I highly recommend them and their app.

5/5I highly recommend Travelers
I had a fender bender on Jan 08th. Called my agent. Filed the claim over the phone. I was immediately given my claims representative information. Within an hour or so I had Enterprise rental company calling me to pick up my rental that Travelers arranged. Travelers extended my rental by a few more days as I was waiting for the payout since my car was a total loss. I was notified it was a total loss within 2 days. The payout was a very reasonable amount considering I was driving a 2016 vehicle with 89,000 miles on it. Anyway, the additional days with the rental allowed me more time to shop for another car. Needless to say, I received my payout amount for the total loss via direct deposit on Jan 15 into my bank account - Exactly a week from the day of the accident. Additionally, my claims rep told me on the day of the accident that they would be covering the damage 100% of the other vehicle that I hit. I was, sadly, the at fault driver. It was such a smooth process and I really feel like their service exceeded my expectations. Needless to say I felt I had too of the line VIP service all around. Super pleased with how my claim was handled.

1/5Website
Not a user friendly website. I did not renew my auto insurance with Travelers. First of all I got a bill for approximately $1800 for renewal. There was no breakdown of the charges. Such as how much you are charging for collision comp ect. We spent 30 minutes trying to figure out how to get those charges so finally I got in a chat with a representative and they sent me the Dec pages. Finally I set up the Travelers mobile app. It must have taken me 30 minutes to figure out how to get to the new policy as-all I was getting was the old policy. I am not going to mention the frustration I had with calling Travelers because that would take a book. I have still not figured out has to cancel my auto pay as although I have not renewed the policy I afraid they will still bill me. I even got my wife involved as she is extremely computer literate and she said the website is ridiculous. Therefore I went to the local Farm Bureau agency got a policy with the same coverages for a much cheaper amount. I will say there was a bundle involved and that affected the price. Trying to cancel my umbrella policy took forever over the phone also. Granted Travelers does not have an agent in my city but I will say Farm Bureau is one of the most responsive people I have met. I am a 35 year employee of TRAVELERS and approximately a 50 year customer plus a stockholder. Your website must be made more user friendly.

5/5Very happy
I’ve had TRAVELERS for years, first on my house in Florida, and now on my house in Georgia. I had a waterline leak under the house in May 2024 that had been going for sometime before it was discovered it was spraying up against the under side of the subfloor, so it saturated a great deal of the under side of my house. TRAVELERS was my second Call after the plumber. TRAVELERS dispatched and adjuster who met with me, and the contractor a day or two later. The work was completely done by August, the contractors were paid and my wife and I had our house back. I’ve heard so many nightmares from other people over the years about the problems. They had with their insurance company when they had a claim. We couldn’t be happier with the quality of service and all aspects of the process. TRAVELERS truly had our back.

1/5Trash!!!
Travelers is absolute garbage. I’m furious right now, as I only now discovered how shady this company is. I’ve been a customer for five years, without any claims. Travelers has made close to $10,000 from me. Today I went to pay my bill and noticed they raised the rate $80. For a majority of the five years I’ve done auto pay in full. Travelers took advantage of this by slowly raising my premium. I discovered this because I wasn’t happy about the price increase and looked at other insurance companies. I found another company that is charging HALF of what Travelers wants. We’re talking hundreds of dollars that I’ve given to Travelers when it wasn’t necessary. I cancelled my coverage and they have the audacity to say I owe them $100 when I have never been late on a payment. Their website is hard to navigate and they do not provide much information, which is obviously to avoid proof that they’re scamming. The numbers do not add up, but I am unable to provide proof. It’s especially upsetting because Covid has hit me hard financially. I’m no longer able to pay in full and struggle to make ends meet. My car currently needs maintenance, but I don’t have the money to fix it. Had Travelers not been so shady and I was charged the same amount as the other insurance company, this year alone I would have $1,260 back in my pocket. More than enough to fix my car.
