5/5Customer worked through an issue with me
The customer service group was willing to work with me and figure out an issue I was having. It was nice to see someone try and support me as a customer. I walked through the troubleshooting with the first tier help who decided to pass me to the second tier. I thought it would be a long process to work through the issue over email, but I was pleasantly surprised when they responded multiple times in an hour and helped me to get my problem fixed. I’d recommend the product based on that but also the app is easy and the device loads quickly to see my doorbell which is better than another brand that I was using. The other brand is very well known but the camera would take forever to load and the audio was scrambled. In Toucan’s product I don’t have these issues.

So, I just purchased 3 Toucan wireless security cameras. For my front porch, living room and backyard. The quality of the cameras are excellent. The cameras itself are good quality very solid. Easy to use and easy to install. Love everything about this cameras I installed the cameras at 11am this morning and it’s now 6:35pm with all cameras having 100% charge on them. Definitely would recommend to any one. For the people who is having buffering issues. Either get a new modem/router or a WiFi booster if you have a huge square feet. I live in a 3200 square feet home and the cameras has no issues connecting to my WiFi.

3/5Was Good .. now very inconsistent
When I first bought the toucan cameras a little over a month ago they were great . Fast loading time to my live feed was able to see things clearly audio was really good . But the last week or so it’s been soo bad . My Live feed doesn’t pop up anymore it just keeps loading and then tells me cannot connect to camera . My internet is fully functional good signal strength it’s got good speed and all my other devices work so I know it’s not the WiFi. I want to say after the last update it started doing all of these inconsistencies. I wish toucan would work on it to get these cameras back to working properly update the firmware or put it back to the older version . I’m really considering to switching to a different brand like the Ring if these arent fixed soon .

I have 4 cameras (upgraded from one). I also have the door bell camera. In regards to battery-life (which typically last about 2 weeks when fully-charged) , image quality (not standard 1080p), and the sensor response time ( there are times when I would wave at the camera for 5secs or even more without the camera sensor even being triggered. Oh let’s not forget the app, well actually forget about the app. It works about half the time, images don’t update on home screen, so much wrong with the app and firmware/software updates do not solve those issues. New subpar products, but no new engineering says a lot about their ability to listen to customers and implement useful changes. Apparently I’m not the only consumer who feels this way. I would definitely recommend going with one of the more established brands.

1/5Great - if you don’t mind a Big Delay
Connecting the devices, and the functionality of the application are decent. I have had quite a bit of correspondence with the company about the delay that I get for all of my events. I have one video doorbell and three cameras. More often than not, I see the backside of a delivery person walking away from the video doorbell, but never see their approach. I tested it again the other day, after doing everything they suggested, and I still consistently see a six or seven second leg time before an event recording begins. At this point, I’m just hoping that anybody who steals something off my porch is on crutches. I see the same delay with all of the products. I have a fast net work, no issues with any streaming devices… So far, no answer.
