Thanks for using Tidecast! This version (1.4.0) includes a noticeable change in the map UI. There are now three pin colors - blue (reference stations), red (subordinate stations), and the new green color which indicates a reference station with water temp instrumentation. Green pins will display water temp on the detail view for that station. Out of the roughly 3,200 tide stations NOAA provides around 245 with water temperature instrumentation. When you select any weather (daily, hourly, or current) a new modal view will be shown with icons and weather data attributes we track. You can also revert to the old style weather detail view by selecting "Use Legacy Weather Detail" in Settings. Whatever you select will become the default and you can change it as much as you want. For iOS 13.0 and above, the new weather detail view can be swiped down to close, making it very convenient. For iOS versions prior to iOS 13, a close button is included.
