   Some writers are just great story tellers that can take base, and rewrite that th olds your interest. That’s all good but to deliberately drag out a story to make more money maybe a genius on their part but it bleeds the readers dry. I’ve already spent over $145 and only gone 286 pages and this particular book has over 1000 plus pages. By the time I’m done, if I continue , will cost me over a $1000 for one book. How is this fair. How is this a good thing. This is what spoils it all for me. It’s just plain robbery. I gave it 4 stars to be fair on the story. This interpretation is not bad. But who wants to continually reads how many time she goes to the bathroom, she brushes her hair, she lifts her foot and walk straight into his arms. So many minute details that is unnecessary and is also repetitive is only geared to rob me. I will not be finishing this book” He changed for her”. I simply cannot afford it. I will check in maybe, so I can read the complimentary few pages offered each day I check in. But I will not spend a dime more.

   I wish I could give more than one star, because the stories are decent. Unfortunately I can not, due to how they have treated me as a customer. I subscribed when I was a guest thinking it would transfer to my account if I logged in, it did not, which was interesting because it transferred the book I was reading no problem. I thought maybe I’ll wait a month and see. So I did, they actually pulled the money 4 days earlier than it was supposed to. Again I thought well ok maybe that was the day I signed up. But I again still didn’t see any extra’s that the subscription had said I would get. So I waited almost another month. I then contacted customer service because at this point they’ve gotten $40 out of me and I got nothing from the subscription. I went back and forth for almost TWO WEEKS! I first got the AI then I was connected to a representative whom I think at this point was several people because they would tell me the same things over and over and over again without fail. I would follow the directions given and send photo evidence of followed directions but would get no response then suddenly get a response with the same directions. At the end I told them this is what I have done all that you’ve asked several times over I still do not see anything about a subscription anywhere. No more being told I can’t find it in the system, so I’m going to block it on my end, I deleted my account, and the guest account and have blocked from my card. That is the only way that has worked so far. PLEASE BE AWARE THEY DONT WANT TO HELP YOU!! They are SCAMMERS!

   I was on facebook and it says “Absolutely free reading…” ummm… no. It’s not. The stories on here are great but you have to pay to finish them. I have started multiple books and haven’t been able to finish one. Facebook and Apple or Google play really need to monitor what they advertise and have available as apps. Some of them are scams. I am stuck paying for another app through paypal but I have no clue how to get rid of it especially since I don’t know what app it was I used. It isn’t mentioned on my paypal account but it is taken out of my bank account and my bank said I have to call paypal. How can I call if the only place shown anything is taken from my bank account but not on my paypal? Please stop making bogus apps or at least be honest because saying “absolutely free” and then having to pay to use it is false advertisement. Get it together especially since you advertise great stories!

4. 1/5Cheaper to buy in hardcover

   I started a couple of stories, and they were mostly good, but when $20 doesn’t even get you half the chapters it turns into a rip off. Not all of us are wealthy enough that we can afford to pay this site $80-$100 a book. That $100 I figured out would cover the one book I did the math for is my book budget for the entire year. Books on their site advertised as free to read are not. The first 6-12 chapters are but the remaining 100+ chapters all pay per chapter with the price being different for each chapter. The cheapest I saw was 25 coins. I think that chapter was 8 pages. I’ll stick to KU, the library and bargain hunting for affordable books. I love to read but I will not pay amounts that would leave me unable to buy food to eat or continue having a place to live that doesn’t involve a tent or cardboard box. This is just another scam aimed at readers. They find stories that get you hooked in the first 5-10 chapters then bleed you for money. I feel for their authors since I doubt that the majority of the income generated by their books make it to them. If it does then the authors are ripoff artists too.

   Don’t fall for this app! I am usually a fast reader, finishing a book within a week or two. I began reading 1 book from this app. Typically books cost between $10 and $20 for a romance novel. I purchased $20 in “coins” to read this book. That did not cover it….in total I have spent and additional $30 ($50 in total) for this book and I am still not finished! I daily watch an ad for 40 free check in coins, I watch an ad for a free gift (sometimes up to 13 free coins), and I then watch 5 ads for an additional 10 coins. Chapters cost between 10 and 15 coins, with the chapters being 2 to 3 pages long. I began reading the same book Jan. 1, 2024 and as of today (April 25, 2024) I am still not finished! I cannot bring myself to purchase any more “coins” on a drawn out book, however I am also a sucker who cannot leave a book unfinished. The ads you watch are between 30 and 60 seconds each. I watch a total of 7 ads daily to read this book. I will finish this book then delete the app. Choose a different format to read from….this on is costly, grammatical errors, and drawn out to waste your money.
