5/5Amazing book; cost to read is steep 💰🤑
I’m hooked on these characters and the 🌶️ scenes are definitely hot. However, I purchased the weekly subscription thinking I would be able to read the entire book and sadly I’ve already used all of the coins in just a few hours on one book. If you are paying a WEEKLY or monthly Subscription then I think it should be unlimited reading. Otherwise, what’s the point of having a subscription.

2/5Too Expensive
So far the stories are actually quite good. However, the problem with this kind of app is that it’s essentially just stealing your money. Because ultimately you end up paying way more than you would for a book. The cost to unlock each chapter is incredibly high and unreasonably so. Sure you can pay monthly to get a couple thousand coins but ultimately that will only unlock a few chapters. At the end of the day you still end up paying hundreds of dollars essentially for a book. It’s a bit of a rip off. There are also ways to earn coins. However, you can only earn a very very negligible amount. It takes several days to earn enough coins to unlock one chapter. You can go to download app Galatea and pay annually like $80 and no other hidden or extra fees and read tons of books always. Even the free version has a way more reasonable unlocking system than this. this app is definitely a trap for people who don’t pay attention because you can easily just pop and spend five bucks here five bucks there for thousands of coins. Next thing you know you’ve spent so much money just to read a few chapters. Its honestly a shame. But again the stories are good and that’s why I’ll give it two stars. Otherwise, the system for unlocking definitely makes this a one star app.

1/5Confused and Disappointed
I wanted to share something important in case it helps someone else. I recently started reading stories on an app called MetroNovel. At first, I was enjoying the storyline even though there was much more cussing than I liked. The hook was in and I purchased what I thought was a simple weekly access to continue reading. However, after around 150 plus chapters and having to continually purchase more and more chapters just to keep going, something didn’t feel right. I thought I had agreed to one weekly price, but when I looked at my account the amount I was charged was almost double. The story also never ends. You just keep buying chapters and the cost keeps adding up far more than what you would ever pay for a book, even a college textbook. So now I am very confused and honestly concerned. Whether this is legal or not, it certainly feels misleading. I am requesting a refund, because this type of payment structure should be clearly explained. When you pay and pay and the book still has no ending, something is not right. I’m just sharing this to help others be aware before downloading the app or purchasing chapters. Be careful with MetroNovel and check your charges often. I truly hope this gets resolved.

1/5Good Stories if you want to pay hundreds of dollars to finish
I was drawn in by a story. Fairly well written overall. The biggest issue I have is the cost to read that story. I’ve spent over $200 and am only a little over half way through the “book”. While I believe in paying the author for what they have created, this is an unreasonable cost. Also, you don’t know how many “coins” each chapter will cost you. Some are a hundred. One was over two hundred “coins”. You can’t earn enough coins daily to read more than one chapter. Who reads a book that slowly. A monthly rate to read x number of books or the ability to “purchase” the book would be more reasonable. Good idea but more costly than it is worth. At least with Kindle you know what you are getting when you start reading.

2/5Nice storyline but way to costly
The story I was reading had a good storyline but had a lot of misspelled words. As the chapters went along so did the price. 125+ coins to unlock a chapter. Seriously! Rewards page you did not earn much in coins daily and the daily check-in was not much either. It would take several days just to earn enough coins just to read one chapter. It would be nice if like other apps you could watch videos to unlock chapters. For me there are more better apps out there that allow that then to waste my time with this one. It would cost a fortune just to read a book on this app. So not worth it.
