1. 5/5My password stopped working

   I emailed support two days ago and still not response, I have owned this app for many years and this is the first time this happens. I have my regular password and my decoy password each containing two separate albums. After the update my password for my first album stopped working and I can only access my decoy album and I cant access the settings to try and fix the issue with the decoy password and I have so many pictures and videos that I dont want to loose that I cant access. Is there any way I can be helped please I’ve even recommended this app to many people because I’ve never had an issue until now and I’m scared to loose my stuff.

2. 5/5Continues to best competitors

   I have been using this app for years, and it remains the best of what's out there. I buy and test-drive premium versions of all the halfway decent private photo organizers in the App Store... I have yet to find one to replace Photo Vault. I believe it has the best combination of security, ease-of-use, user interface, and features. Also, the developers haven't abandoned this app since 2011, so the forecast on future updates always looks promising. While I have always come back to Photo Vault Pro as my main photo organizer, there is ONE FEATURE in particular that it is SORELY MISSING... SUB-FOLDERS!! A few competitor photos apps do have this ability, and I found it so useful that I was nearly converted. This feature makes it possible to create folders within folders, move folders around at will, and nest albums deep within multiple parent folders if desired. I found this extremely useful. It allows for an album structure that is so much cleaner, much more organized, and much easier to navigate. Photo Vault's current album structure requires you to scroll through all your individual albums before reaching the bottom of a long list. This can be fairly annoying, and the more albums you have the more annoying it gets. Newly created albums are always placed at the bottom of this long list, and manually moving an album up through the long line is frustrating. For me, the lack of sub-folders is the one feature keeping this 'truly great app' from becoming a 'truly perfect app'

3. 1/5I hate the new version of the app

   The previous version of this app was very stable between updates and I’ve been able to add and edit large numbers of photos without problems on my Ipad ever since I bought the pro version nearly 3 years ago. Well lo and behold my Ipad somehow turned on auto update in the App Store without my express permission and installs this train wreck of an app. I am unable to move pictures around in my albums without the app crashing and not saving my changes. Also when I scroll through an album random thumbnails will turn white and I have to scroll up or down on the screen to restore the thumbnail images. Restarting my Ipad does nothing to resolve the issues and reinstalling the app is completely unreasonable due to the amount of pictures I’d have to back up somewhere and reinstall. I also am not a fan of the edit toolbar changes. It isn’t as intuitive as the last version. The crop tool in particular is very buggy and the image keeps moving around on my screen when I try to adjust what I want to crop. This is very disappointing because I used this app extensively and there aren’t really any better alternatives on the App Store. I hope someone is actually reading these reviews (although I seriously doubt it) and gets to work on repairing this “update”. Otherwise I think I’m done using this app for good. Device info: Ipad Pro non cellular version 256GB storage capacity 130GB used purchased in 2018 IOS version 12.1.1

4. 1/5need to be fixed!!

   Review update: app developers contacted me and ensured me not to delete app as they are going to be releasing an update to the app in the upcoming week or 2 that will fix the issues im having.... that was a month and a half ago when they told me that. just wandering, how that update coming along?? the issue of scrambling all the photos out of order still exists. ————————————————- My original review: this app was great until the latest update, now its trash!. deserves 0 stars but thats not an option unfortunately. b4 the update: for the most part my photos, videos, etc where in order and grouped up on my phone and require little to no organization. b4 the update, when u imported content from your phone into this app it would keep all your content in the same order as they is on your phone and again required little to no organization. After this trash update: Ever since this recent update, when u import content from your phone, it completely scrambles them all up separating them causing u to have to spend a ton of unnecessary time organizing all your content again inside the app. if u are like me and have a ton of content such as photos and videos that u want to import to this app so u can remove them from your phone, im sure u can imagine how aggravating it is to have to spend a ton of time reorganizing your content in this app just because it wants to be dumb af and scramble it all when they was already organized in the first place. i strongly encouraged the app developers to FIX THSI APP immediately. until then im done with this app and will be deleting it and will inform others to avoid this app!!

5. 4/5Update to Prior Review

   This is an update to a prior, much lower rated review, as the prior sync issues I had apparently were an issue with their server and haven’t happened again recently. Overall the app is very good. The primary issue I continue to have also has to do with syncing new pictures to their cloud vault, a premium feature. Any time the app is started anew, the sync won’t happen automatically. I have to hit the View Details option, pause the sync, then restart it in order to get it to actually take place. This has been happening since I subscribed to the Pro option, and continues to happen with every update. If not for the relatively minor issue described in the previous paragraph, this would be a five star app.
