5/5Our Go-To Place for Parts for Our Classic Cars and Trucks
We’ve had a great experience with Summit Racing and continue to use them whenever we need parts for our vehicles, including our 1972 Chevrolet C10, 1965 Ford Mustang, and 2002 Ford F-250 Super Duty. One of the things we appreciate most is how easy Summit makes it to search for parts by the specific year, make, and model of the vehicle. Being able to compare different brands, specifications, prices, and options—and verify that a part fits our particular vehicle before purchasing—makes a big difference, especially when working on older vehicles where getting the correct part can sometimes be challenging. Summit has a huge selection, and their website gives us the information we need to compare our options and feel confident that we’re ordering the right parts the first time. Whether we’re working on the ’72 C10, the ’65 Mustang, or our F-250 Super Duty, Summit Racing is one of the first places we look. Great selection, easy-to-use vehicle fitment tools, plenty of options to compare, and a dependable source for our restoration and repair projects. We’ll definitely continue buying from Summit Racing.

5/5Summit App
I really enjoy shopping with Summit Racing. They have always been helpful even when stuff just goes wrong. They are the fastest at shipping that I have experienced. Now the App. The phone app can be a little challenging at times. Slow to respond, hard to get the best price, and hard to get all of the options listed in a search. One example, searched comp cams magnum roller tip rockers looking for the higher 1:72 ratio. It not even on the list of options. I went to the comp cams website to get the part number to put it in the app. I put the part number in and then it shows up. It’s just time consuming to get a list of everything your looking for before using the app to be able to find it. I feel like most of the people shopping on the site / app are budget minded. Example What is going on with pushrod prices. Stock gen 1 Chevy 5/16 pushrod is $30-50 and a plus .100” pushrod is $120 plus for same standard of pushrod. Okay I’m done.

5/5Happy with Summit parts
I have used summit for years and normally when i have had problems or questions about orders or parts they have been great at addressing them. Which is one of the main reason for using them and there quick delivery’s. But since covid there custom service has been nonexistent i simply can not get in contact with them they don’t answer the phone don’t respond to emails or texts its been very frustrating. But i continue to give them the benefit of the doubt due to their past good business practices. But if there support staff are now operating from home no seems to be doing there jobs. Lets hope summit gets back to the great company they were. If not i will probably start using another company.

2/5Awesome App! Also has annoying issues
This app is super cool and I like it, and for awhile it was working pretty good... however it’s so stupid trying to use it lately, and I try to just use submit racing on a browser but it immediately just redirects me to the app so that not an option, I love summit and the idea of the app but right now that app is complete garbage and it needs these bugs worked out ASAP, issues that I’m personally experiencing (as well as some of my buddies) : when your looking for a item and hit checkout 5 times out of 10 it doesn’t go into the shopping kart, and when you go to the kart it’s not there the other 5 times out of 10 it won’t leave your shopping kart. I have purchased items months ago and those items are still in my kart. If I hit remove it reloads to show me the part still there? I have went roundy rounds and “deleted” the item like 37 times and when you go back into the app or reload the page it’s right back in the shopping kart. Incredibly annoying. The other issue, is placing an order and you receive the email confirming and getting and order number, however the problem comes when you go back into the app you can’t see that order, it’s showing the previous past orders but not the newest one made within 12 hours. Now I understand within 12 hours it surely hasn’t shipped and I’m not looking for a tracking number, but it doesn’t feel very assuring that your order has been placed if you don’t see it displayed in your order status, kinda makes you feel like it wasn’t actually ordered. And before anyone asks, both my phone and the app have been updated to the newest update, I have also deleted the app and re-downloaded it numerous times and it has fixed absolutely nothing. I prefer summit to jegs and speedway but these problems are literally making it hard for me place orders and get parts from them. If these bugs get corrected I give the app 5 stars. Once again summit racing themselves and the parts they sell are 10 out of 10 in my book but the app is not friendly as long as those bugs are present.

5/5The Will Call system is retarded!
I like everything about Summit except the Will Call system in Arlington. It’s a joke. You have to wait an eternity. Twice now have not called my name when the screen said my order way ready. The last time, after waiting another fifteen minutes, I walked up to the counter and said that my name was not called and the counter man said “That’s a lie. See right here? They write the time your name was called”. My name is super hard to pronounce, which I’m convinced is why it’s not called. Like someone couldn’t just write a time down and throw it on the shelf. If it weren’t for that retarded system I would give it five stars.
