1. 2/5Needs some tweaking……

   I came to this app excited to help sync my lifestyle around my monthly cycle but I’m left disappointed and unhappy and unfortunately find this to be a basic period tracker. The fact that I can’t gain insight and data trends on my own personal cycle symptoms but I can see data on what “other people have tracked” is beyond frustrating and pointless…….Everyone’s different and it’s irrelevant to me to know that most people are tired during their period when I personally get tons of energy. I experience atypical cycle symptoms and I thought this app would allow me to see my strengths and weaknesses. For example, most women are exhausted during their menstruation but I get tons of energy. During ovulation most women have more energy but I experience exhaustion. I can go on and on…… Knowing what phase of the moon I menstruate is pretty cool with but by only being able to having access to what the majority of women report is just not helpful to me personally otherwise I wouldn’t have downloaded this app. While I do use this app to track my period and it’s accurate, I hope a change can be made so others can log in and see how they will feel on a certain date due to THEIR prior symptom trends. Kind of how you don’t want to book a beach vacay while having your period, it would be nice to know during my _______ phase I will be tired so make sure I do XY&Z. Just my personal input. Hope things change or I’ll be making my own excel sheets soon 😭

2. 1/5Tracking isn’t really custom!

   Be aware: this company won’t allow refunds even when canceling in 3 weeks with a remaining 49 weeks to go in the one year subscription. I’ve always had an app company reimburse me partial payment back. While it’s only been twice I’ve had to do that it’s been done. The entire reason I signed up and paid for Stardust was to have a tracker where I wasn’t using it for a contraceptive. It seemed like an ideal app! The whole reason why I needed the app is because the last months I have started to have my 5 day ovulation cycle only a couple of days after bleeding during my menstruation cycle. And therefore have had periods come a week early as well! Come to find out this app won’t allow you to adjust your ovulation cycle to when you’re actually ovulating and further argues with you that you can’t possibly be ovulating. Uh okay wrong! So this app would have been super ideal and I loved it at first until it disallowed me to actually log my cycle correctly so it knows where I am. It’s telling me I’m days off from where I actually am. Deeming the app completely a waste of money. It can’t be useful to me now. So they need to change this feature so we can actually tell the app what is going on with our bodies and not gaslight us. Not cool. Not sure what to do with the app I paid for. (Also my husband gets the wrong info in the partner feature as it says I’m on my period right now when I’ve just finished my ovulation cycle 2 days ago). 🤔

   I’ve been a period track user since 2014 because I have ADHD and have NO idea what’s going on in my body at any given moment. When I heard about Stardust I was super excited because it’s women owned and telling a man all about my period always gave me the ick. I’ve been using stardust for a few months now and am enjoying it a lot. I appreciate that it shows you what phase you’re in and there are a plethora of information that you can track. With that being said, I would appreciate having more positive symptoms especially under “Feelings”. There’s symptoms like “unfocused” and “unmotivated” but not their opposites. I understand that those positive feelings are assumed if their alternatives are not chosen, but for someone like me with ADHD, being focused and motivated is definitely not in my daily skills. I’ve been adding them to the notes at the bottom but I would really appreciate if they were added in. Overall, the experience of this app is really nice and I like the vibe they’re giving especially in regards to their counterparts. TL;DR. I like the app a lot (especially cuz it’s woman owned) but I wish there were more “feelings” options that included more types of emotions other than just negative. Update: they just added a custom option! Fantastic thank you!!

4. 5/5Best tracking app ever

   I absolutely loveee Stardust they do an amazing job of tracking not just my period but all of my phases they protect my data and really help me feel like I’m not crazy by explaining in detail hormonal changes and how they affect my body and why I’m feeling the way I do which gives me the validation and control I need over my own body their free version is amazing and premium is not overpriced I’ve never felt so respected. I had Flo for around 4 years and got Stardust this year after really wanting to be able to track all my phases and they did not disappoint a billion times better than Flo the only things that Flo had that I did like that Stardust doesn’t offer is the period community chat basically is what I’ll call I enjoyed that at times on Flo but Stardust takes my health seriously and isn’t just trying to take my money without teaching me anything about my body like Flo does for Flo every little thing other than when your period is coming you’d have to pay an arm and a leg for so unreasonable! Plus I had a small problem (more like a user error 😅) with Stardust and I reached out them they responded almost immediately give me all the answers to my questions and telling me what to do (like sending them a screen recording) if I kept struggling so they could further help me it was amazing customer service I loveee this app couldn’t recommend it more thank you Stardust!!!

   I have never understood myself as well as I do now.. and this app knows me better than I know myself! The tips that it sends me are insanely true to reality in a helpful way. For example, I was out of chocolate the other day and my app sent me one word “Nutella,” and I was like, “wow, that actually totally solves all my problems.” And one day it was like “fight the urge to tell everyone to hurry up today” and I felt so much more in control of my impatience, knowing that it was my hormones at work…. And I HAD felt so much more impatient on that particular day! This app has been instrumental and fundament I have never understood myself as well as I do now.. and this app knows me better than I know myself! The tips that it sends me are insanely true to reality in a helpful way.
