   The calendar is always wrong. If you miscarry it throws everything off and just acts like you had a long cycle. The community is obnoxious and is primarily just a bunch of people bragging that they got a positive pregnancy test or posting pics asking if you think it's positive. There is a ton of sexually explicit content, including a group for horny women who send out pics, engage in sexting in group posts, and send out their Snapchat info. (And minors use this app). Yet I get a post deleted for ranting that people were rudely posting pregnancy announcements in an announcement free area just to rub it in everyone's face in it. Which is very difficult for the many women on here trying to conceive. Everyone knows you can't post them in the general TTC room and this rule is in bold at the top of the page. (There are special groups for that, where they are welcomed). So rude people are allowed to blatantly disobey the rules and hurt other people, but we can't be upset about it. Not to mention the site advocates teen pregnancy. Not only do they allow minors to see all the sexually explicit content on the app, but they even have support groups for minors that are trying to conceive!!! And if you try to say anything about how wrong it is to promote 14 year olds trying to get pregnant they will delete your post and even suspend you. Because it's considered judging other people on the site. I deleted this app after only a few weeks, I couldn't take this garbage anymore.

2. 1/5This app is full of lies

   Who in their right mind charges $80 for a period app?! Video games designed by the top creators with the best graphics and performance cost less than this. You can use the free version but be prepared to get bombarded with a ton of inappropriate ads. Also, they say the app is supposed to be 17+ but if you just look with your eyes on iOS it is clearly 12+, this is an issue for a multitude of reasons. There are many many many sex rooms and sex talk rooms and many post photos of their private parts, some are obviously underage. This should be a crime. If that’s not enough, there’s a multitude of hostile women who will sit there and berate you over any and everything and nothing is ever done about it. I have no idea how this app has 5 stars, I suspect they bought reviews honestly. There are also obvious predators on the app that target the young girls and nothing at all is done about this. These boards are not moderated, they will say they are but they monitor the most trivial things and let major, predatory things go. I hope this app gets shut down. It should not be 12+ and do not believe the lies in all the comments. Support does nothing. I hope other people speak up and help to get this despicable app shut down. Stop allowing young girls to be preyed upon and to join rated R sex rooms for predators to prey on them. You should be ashamed of yourselves at Glow! Don’t bother leaving your generic fake reply to this like you do for all your other negative reviews Glow.

   I’ve used this app for the 4 years my husband and I have been trying. Some things I’ve noticed over time that I think could use improvement: spotting should have more in depth questions, rather than just how heavy it is, what color and consistency it is. Also how close it is to predicted period start date. As those are important qualifying factors for implantation bleeding versus start of a period. Another thing, is mittleschmertz. The app doesn’t mention that or factor it into the equation. If you log cramping in the middle of a cycle, it shouldn’t spit out any sort of period related analysis, because it’s not that time and most likely connected to ovulation, which should be good news for TTC women. Also, I’ve paid for the premium, and I’m genuinely not seeing a difference in quality of any of the information, predictions, etc. it seems to need some serious fine tuning or otherwise to be a rip off. As far as the analysis goes, if I’ve logged sex, I genuinely don’t want to know what percentage of other people just had sex too. That’s unwanted information. I want what’s relevant to me, and my effort to conceive. Tell me about what day in the cycle I am and how this particular sexual encounter helps get me to my goal. Same goes for so much of the other analysis. Tell me how it helps or hinders my goal. Suggest what to do to increase my chances within the scope of what I just logged. Something like: “You just had sex on cycle day 13! Great job! This is the most optimal day of the month to conceive! Don’t stop now, you ought to keep going at least every other day. Make sure to stay hydrated and eat lots of leafy vegetables in the coming weeks.”

4. 5/5Great but not 100% Accurate

   I have been using this app for years now. I keep track of my period because it’s so irregular. It’s great to record your period cycles and your moods and current symptoms but not to calculate when your ovulating and it’s not accurate in calculating your next period either. You can’t base yourself 100% on an app. There has been times it does predict my next periods and other times it’s way off, because not every woman is the same of course. Be really careful in not trusting when it predicts your days of ovulation, it tells you that it’s high risk in getting pregnant and to be careful if your going to have sex if your avoiding pregnancy. I have tested these predictions and it’s completely off. I have taken ovulation tests just to see if it’s accurate and it’s not. I have taken my ovulation tests and it says I’m ovulating on days the app it says that I’m not and it’s low risk to get pregnant and it says I’m ovulating when clearly the test I’m not. Definitely not 100% and you should never trust an app to to tell you what your body is doing or not. If avoiding pregnancy don’t use this app for that. Use other methods. It’s great for other things just not for other important stuff.

5. 1/5Only keeps the data you don’t want it to.

   When I decided to move from Eve (for period tracking) to Glow (for TTC) I thought “yay! They’re by the same developer and they already have all the detailed tracking I’ve been putting in for over a year. This should be super accurate!”. Guess again. They don’t attach ANY of your period data or symptoms to your account, so you have to manually enter it. I’m even on their annual subscription to get access to better “predictions”. You know what would help predict stuff? All that data I spent over a year adding into the app you have under the SAME subscription umbrella that I paid for. You know what DOES transfer form app to app and shows *in my public profile*? The comments I leave on their “articles”. Cool. Glad we got those priorities straight guys. I even emailed support because I was certain it must be a glitch. This is the whole reason these apps exist. Why would they not attach my date to my profile? Or at least give me the option to transfer it from app to app within my phone? Nope. They know, they don’t care. They told me to add my last few cycles in manually to get started. Don’t waste your money. They also have a horrific track record for privacy and safety which I found out while googling to find a work-around. Go ahead. Google them and enjoy the horror of the fact that they let any person with your email address pair themselves to your account. Lovely. What a stalker’s paradise.
