1. 5/5Definitely grew on me

   My 1st review I wrote out of frustration, but I received an email from the developer right away explaining how as I got further along earning coins & stuff would be easier, so i stuck with it & it definitely has me hooked now! I had read in another review about using the chef store & food truck to earn coins faster, & it definitely does. Still the only problem is the cost for goodies, new plots & appliances is a little ridiculous- especially since the restaurant customers pay so little for their meals after they took so long to cook. There are cookies that take over 6 hours to cook just 1 tray! You can ask for help to speed it up or pay an insane amount of game dollars, but you only get to ask your friends for help 3xs every 24 hours, so that’s not much help at all. My BIGGEST problem right now is that the next appliance is 45,000 coins, which is very high & right now 6 of my 10 tables are waiting on a new recipe from this appliance & now there’s 1 table waiting for the next 40,000 appliance! So I only have 2 tables & the wine counter to earn coins from, but the wine counter doesn’t help too much bc it cost so many goodies to make the food & the fruits sell for so much more in the chef store. & in between the 2 appliances is another one for 29,000, that I’m pretty sure I’m going to need to make most of the recipes in the 45,000 one! Please fix this- there shouldn’t be more than 1/2 my tables waiting for a new recipe from a new appliance that Is taking Forever to purchase bc only 2 tables are open but have to wait 2-3-4 hours for their order! I also purchased dollars & coins bc I do love this game

2. 5/5Almost a 5 star game

   OLD REVIEW- Pretty good game! I would recommend it to someone who wants to try something new. The thing I like the least is that the customers order ”surprise me” from a station I don’t even have! Like- Boom! As soon as I level up and I can get the Mexican station everyone is ordering “surprise me” from it. But since the stations are REALLY expensive it takes me forever to save up for it, which is hard because since I can’t serve the “surprise me” they keep taking up more and more tables! Right now I only have one table that isn’t a “surprise me” order. Can you make it so you can only get the “surprise me” orders once you have the station that the order is for, Make it so I can send away a certain amount of people each day, or just make the stations way less expensive? Cause literally 9/10 of the people in my restaurant have been sitting there for MONTHS! Other than that this game is a really fun game, I haven’t ever gotten bored of it even if can be frustrating. Unlike some people in other Reviews. I don’t think that you have to pay to play. The game play doesn’t become gridlocked even if “surprise me” orders are taking up 90% of my tables. Wish I could give this app a 5 star rating. UPDATED REVIEW- The customer service is amazing! Even though my problem couldn’t be fixed completely they gave me suggestions to help. My suggestions in the previous review still stand, but this game has definitely earned a 5 star rating just from the customer service. They were kind and didn’t criticize me in any way. 👍Awesome game guys! Thanks!!!👏👏

3. 2/5Great concept, bad execution

   On the surface, when first trying the game, it seems great. Especially if you want low pressure, casual game play. But once you get into it, it’s not just casual game play, it quickly becomes grindingly slow and frustrating. The cooking times are too high. Add to that, the limits placed on actions by “goodies” - basically a second in-game currency, that limits farming and ingredient purchasing actions. Then, the cost of upgrades and expansions are WAY too high in proportion to what you earn. I just leveled up again, but have been unable to buy the new cooking gadgets or the necessary land expansions to have a place to put them from my previous two or three level-ups. That’s ridiculous. (There are other features I can’t access that have unlocked with these updates.) There are games that are challenging & games that push challenging to the level of frustration. This is the latter. If the pace of game play could be changed to balance out a player’s ability to start accessing new features as soon as they level up, this would be a great game. Lower cooking times, increase cooking slots. I have had the pizza oven, for example, through three or four level ups, but still have 2 or 3 levels before a second slot opens up. Yes, I can cook 2 servings at once, of ONE recipe. That’s not helpful when 5 tables want pizza. I’d love to see this game keep the ability for players who want to play at a more casual pace continue to play this way, which is simple to do, just keep the diners as they are, perpetually patient, but speed up game play by lowering times & costs so we can enjoy the benefits of leveling up faster.

4. 1/5Awful awful update

   I used to love this game but the update is making me want to stop playing all together. Everything is too small, the layout is bad, the rearrangements and color. Basically everything that has been changed with this new update is awful and unnecessary. The only thing I like is the fact that I can now see when I am out of a certain recipe. I don't play as much because of this but I will keep it to see if it will go back to normal with the next update. The game was great and one of my favorites please put things back to normal. Just maybe change the ridiculous star requirements and how everything costs so darn much. Update: I wrote this months ago and never sent it...I don’t know what on earth happened but not only does this game have certain flaws, you can barely play it. Playing this game feels as though I am waiting for my mother to hang up the phone so I can use the internet. We have progressed far too much for these problems to be happening. You’ve made updates for the worst. Not sure if it was for budget cuts or what but you are and will be losing more costumers/money with these “new” updates than you would have leaving it the way it was. I’ve been a long time player but at this point I am working way too hard to get from my garden to my restaurant and to play a game that used to bring some anti stress. Come on guys.

5. 2/5Not so Great game

   NOT SO AWESOME GAME ABOUT RESTAURANT AFTER ALL in response to developers: i’ve been playing for a few days now and notice some discrepancies and a lot of bad things about the game. The hours it takes for the food to be cooked is too long, nobody is going to wait 1 HOUR or 2 HOURS in real life for a food to be cooked. Even in real restaurants, that’s absurd and unprofessional for, people will leave. This is bad because it distracts people from the game, if I have to wait an hour for a meal to be cooked, i’ll be forced to exist and go watch Netflix in the time being. Theirs is no way to cancel orders you can’t serve so you’re just forced to stay there until you can buy the latest mix blender or new stove which will take “game money” since max orders are 200 tokens. Plus the hours it takes to delivery the actual mix blend which is 7 or 5 hours in life. This game is basically a game of making people wait to force them to use real life money to speed up the process and even that process doesn’t last because tokens run out fast. So it basically like a lottery machine that keeps trying to force you to spend money to decrease waiting time, it’s not about the restaurant simulation it provides. My need of waiting has plateau because i’m not about to wait hours to play a game nor spend any money on it, so at this point it’s not even entertaining anymore, it’s basically a waiting game which is stupid. I think the developer should really listen to the reviews because if it gets enough bad reviews, it decrease the downloads on the app store and people will stop playing, you’ll basically lose money too. This game needs a lot more improvements
