5/5Rent App
I’ve been using Rent App for a while now, and I’m really impressed! The user interface is clean, intuitive, and easy to navigate, making it a pleasure to use every day. The features are exactly what I needed and work flawlessly. What stands out the most is the splitting rent payments. It’s really helped me since I get paid every 2 weeks. Plus, the app runs smoothly without any lag or crashes, which is always a huge plus. Customer support is also top-notch—they responded quickly and resolved my issue efficiently. If you're looking for an app that changing your payment date this is definitely the one to go for. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking…Keep up the good work!!!

1/5Still being told that cannot use Split Pay
Been told multiple times tried to apply twice being denied. It won’t give me a reason for the denial. I use flex pay on a regular every month no problems with flex pay yeah there’s some here and there, but there’s nothing crazy and easily be fixed and out trying to use Split Pay I can’t even get past the application process because I’m getting denied. And they won’t even Tell me why. Or what I can do to fix this except for using a different bank account what does the bank account have to do I need help paying rent because I don’t have money to pay the rent that is what Split Pay is supposed to be for if I had something to hide I wouldn’t have put my banking information obviously I don’t have money in my bank that will cover the rent rent or else I wouldn’t be using Flex or Split Pay. I would just pay it directly to my renting. Office so I don’t know if it’s because they see a credit card with a balance of a certain amount but it’s actually I owe money to them. It’s not like I have the money so either tell me because I owe too much. Tell me the reason don’t just say a plain generic version not detail oriented why and what I can do to fix because if I open a bank account just to use it because you suggested it too I won’t have no money on that either so I don’t I don’t understand maybe it’s better I don’t use Split Pay. I haven’t even got approved and it’s been a problem.

1/5Beyond Horrible
I’ve been using the Flex rent app for the majority of my lease and never had a problem. I decided to try this app because they recently got introduced the split and pay feature using the rent portal and I am able to split my rent with the Rent App evenly, unlike with Flex where they only fronted me $500. I followed their instructions and set up my rent to be paid. It was easy as 1-2-3. After the rent was paid and the money was withdrawn from my account, I received a email stating that my payment was unsuccessful due to insufficient funds for the entire amount of the rent. I called support and emailed them a screenshot of the payment that was withdrawn and told I would hear from them later that day. They sent me an email 8:30pm (after business hours) stating that they had to refund my payment because their system had started a ACH return to the rent portal. They did state that they would pay for any late and returned fees as a good gesture, which was fine with me. I rescheduled the payment and they waited until late afternoon to attempt withdrawing the payment and it was denied due to insufficient funds. I asked if they would make another attempt the next day and they said they would, but I would have to reschedule the payment because their system would have already started an ACH return. Apparently they launched this new system with the rent portal the week of April 21 or 28, so everybody who used this system for the month of May including me had some bad experience and was basically using us as the Guinea pigs to work out the kinks in their system. While they were using us as Guinea pigs, they were also ruining our credibility with our leasing agents. All in all, I will not be using this company again and would highly recommend to stay away from them. I may pay more with flex but at least I know I won’t have issues paying my rent with them.

1/5very disappointed
First off I’d like to say I appreciate them for having a app like this, but it’s not good for people who struggle. Today is Presidents’ Day and my check is supposed to deposit today, but of course since it’s a holiday, I won’t be able to receive my funds I am a single mom who DoorDash is for a living who has two kids under the age of five with no daycare and I have about $5000 in bills a month and that’s just for basic living rent app knows my story and I let them know that I try my hardest to make sure I get my payments paid on time but here as of lately it doesn’t seem like they care they always say that they understand and they’re here to help but I don’t think that they actually do understand. I’m not in a place where I can get a 9 to 5 because I don’t have daycare for my kids so being able to split my rent is helpful for me but if anyone who DoorDash is knows what DoorDash pays it pays Little to nothing and I have to pull over 70 and 80 hours in a week just to make it through. I don’t get any government assistance. Everything is paid out-of-pocket by my earnings but nonetheless they revoked my split pay which is what helps me pay my bills and now I’m probably gonna get evicted so thanks for an app for not caring for people who go through a struggle and this is my last time reviewing this app. I will not be updating it because people who struggle like me which is 90% of the world need to know that these apps don’t care about people going through hard times even though they say they do I’m disappointed because I’ve been using rent app for a year and I’ve always paid them. Yes, I may have been late, but I’ve always paid them and never not paid them like some people do and I felt like they should take that into consideration, but they don’t nonetheless if you do not have a good financial situation. Do not use this app because it will not be helpful for you. It will honestly just be a hindrance

3/5Ughhh need to explain better
Originally I got this app thinking it would take the money from my account every other week when I get paid. Let me break the payments down to yall. You will have to submit a first payment in the beginning of the month. The next one is advertised as 15 days later but it’s not. I set my payment to be taken out to be paid to my portal on the 2nd of the month which is within my pay period. This month as of February they want to take the money out on the 2nd of the month (I beg paid on the 30 of January and February 13. They are not operating off that schedule ASK ALL THE QUESTIONS!!! They want to take my first payment on February 1. Which means I have to save that money for them to do so. Everyone doesn’t have it so easy to be having money off pay periods. I need something that works for me unfortunately after this month this is not it.
