   Just got this app today to go along with my iPhone 15Pro and I love them both. The app is amazing and super easy to use. One thing I notice is that while I can set the Workflow to allow me to edit the shot right away or get ready for another new photo fast, if I choose the latter the pic is in my album and I have no chance to bring it back in to the app and do some of their amazing edit features, one being ‘freeze’. I have to stop taking pics and edit right there causing me to miss new photo opportunities. Am I missing something or can it be done? Would love if it could. I’d give it five stars all day!! Update; I’ve been using this app a lot and have really gotten into it. There are so many things you can do. I appreciate the developer explaining about saving the photo to come back and re-edit them as they take up a lot of file space. Glad they explained it as it makes sense. Been able to work faster on this great app editing after the shot and getting ready for the next one. Highly recommend this app!

2. 5/5Turns the iPhone into a DSLR

   This app is amazing! I don’t know how it works, but it does something magical and let’s you take photos with very long exposures, just as you can with a DSLR. The iPhone has always been known to have a good camera, but its lens is just too big and too fast (f-stop-wise) to take long exposures of things like waterfalls during the day. Depending on the situation, anything more than around 1/30 of a second would cause the photo to be over exposed. Well, this app changes that and lets you take photos with crazy shutter speeds, 8, 15 & 30 seconds...even longer. It also features a “bulb” mode, which let’s the user keep the shutter open as long as they want, which is perfect for capturing fireworks and things like that. I’ve been lugging around heavy camera gear for many years but recently made the decision to simplify my life and just use my iPhone to take photos. That worked for everything except long exposures for subjects like waterfalls, traffic lights and dark scenes. I’m so thankful I heard about this app because with it, I have finally reached my goal and think I can fully replace my DSLR system with my iPhone. I took some photos today with the app, and everyone I showed thought they were taken with a DSLR and shocked to find out they were from an iPhone. If I hadn’t told them, they would have thought the photos were from a $5000 camera system. I contacted the developer today with a question and received a reply within 15 minutes. What?! That never happens. Most developers never write back. I know this review is long, and I probably rambled too long, but I want people to feel my excitement and understand how much this app can change your photography.

3. 5/5Astrophotography

   I only use this app for Astro photography, and when I get the focus locked it works wonderfully. The only thing that would make this app perfect is being able to manually set the focus with a slider rather than having to lock on to a distant object. When I’m taking pictures of the stars somewhere there is no distant light source, it is very difficult to set the focus to the right distance. Having an exposure slider would also be nice but it isn’t as big of an issue. I would also like to be able to toggle HDR. But adding a focus slider would make this the ideal app for taking pictures of the stars.

4. 5/5Good but noisy night photos

   Only used the Low Light capture mode. The controls are easy to use so I rarely needed to review the instructions. I like how the display shows the image live. Night photos are bright, showing stars fainter than the unaided eye can see. Photos show the brightest dark sky objects such as M31 even from the bright skies at home! Photos are noisy even with High Noise Reduction. Longer exposures are slightly less noisy. Use at least 8 sec to reduce noise; 30 sec has slightly less noise and no star trailing. I usually use the app when I put the iPhone in a Pocket Tripod, a plastic holder that folds up to fit in a wallet.

5. 3/5It’s good, but low light isn’t. (11pro max)

   First things first I am using the 11 pro max. I tried using this for low light and night sky photos both, and while the app itself isn’t too bad, it just doesn’t work right. The low light photos come out blurry, iso messes with the color of the environment if it’s too low, but if it’s too high then the photo is way to bright, and the noise reduction doesn’t seem to help. I understand real iso should be adjusted to the correct level but iso should also be as low as possible to reduce noise in the photo and not change colors. If this is remotely what you’re going for and have an iPhone 11 I wouldn’t even bother because the low light on these phones outplays this app with the quality it produces, even if it can’t get super bright.
