5/5Amazing teaching tool
THANK YOU. I’m working with a youth theater group for an upcoming musical, and this app has made it SO much easier to teach vocals. The speed and pitch controls are great, of course; but the quality of the vocal isolation, while not 100% perfect (nothing is), is easily the best I’ve seen in an iOS app. I’m able to toggle between just instruments, just voices, and both *while the song is playing,* which is incredibly helpful for the kids to hear exactly what they should be singing/listening for. As other competent reviewers have mentioned, some kind of in-app file management system, like folders or playlists, would be the icing on the cake. It’s crashed on me a couple of times when downloading songs, but moving the tracks out of the cloud and onto my iPad solved that. I’d also like to see a little deeper zoom in, more accuracy in moving markers (it jumps a little every time you release), and the ability to turn off/on the waveform “record spin” sound when you scrub. But those are minor nice-to-haves in an app that is incredibly useful as it stands. Bravo. If you’re too cheap to pay $15 to support this kind of advanced audio trickery, I don’t know what to say.

5/5Killer app for musicians
After reading two or three reviews, I just went all in and purchased it right from the start. I have absolutely no regrets. This app does everything I wanted it to. There is one thing I would like to see added, but I’ll get to that in a minute. I use the iPhone 12 Pro and it works amazing. It’s a little hard to see where to start and in the loops on an iPhone and I think it will be a lot easier when I get a iPad which I am definitely getting after using this app. But even with the iPhone, I can get good timing on my loops and it makes practicing difficult sections so much easier. So the one thing I would like to see added is a beat finder/metronome that would help find the beat exactly to create loops faster. I’d pay double for that. But without it, it’s surprisingly easy using the waveform and zooming in and out on it. I play rock and jazz guitar at a high-level and one of the songs that I am fine-tuning some sections on is in three-quarter time at 196 BPM triplets. It is mostly swinging, but there are sections with three and sections with six triplets all played and all picked. This app is better than anything I found at helping me fine tune my fingering/picking in those extremely fast bursts of speed where every note is picked and must be accurate to sound good. I’ve been using this for a week and it is already improving my playing in those sections. I can’t say enough about it so I’ll just end here. I think this would help any serious player at any level, improve their playing quickly and accurately. I would not hesitate to advise any serious musician that desires to prepare and play their music as accurately as humanly possible to spend the 20 bucks – are you kidding me? I can’t imagine a better way to spend 20 bucks on your playing. I said I would in back there somewhere but I could go on and on.

5/5So far so good but...
I have been using this app on my iPhone to isolate the rhythm, drums and or bass guitar so that I can see where sheet music and tabs are off by a note or two which is great. If you are looking to use this on your iPhone or iPad it is a fantastic app and boggles my mind as to how the program was designed to operate on a phone. I would recommend for those purposes. But I thought for certain I had downloaded the same app on my windows 10 pc? Is that even possible? or has some other company used the same name in the Microsoft store and now I'm stuck with that other app? I would just like to know if this program which works for what I need on my iOS iPhone, is available on a windows OS because it is a lot easier on the eyes and ears to be able to do the same on a much more powerful machine with bigger screen and a superior sound system. If not, are you considering development for the windows OS? And if yes to either would I need to purchase twice? Thanks in advance for reading my jumbled review/ inquiry and I look forward to hearing from you.

5/5Great tool!
I love this app. Saves me from having to fire up the desktop and DAW to pick out melodies and instrumental pieces from songs I want to learn. So much easier to use. The pitch and speed change controls are superb. A couple of suggestions, though. Could you make it so that the looper function can be set shorter than the current shortest time. I think it can be closed in to about 2 or 3 secs. It’d be great if the start and end points could be brought together as close as possible. Like in milliseconds. I often try to pull notes out of recordings one by one. I close in on a single note and let it loop, then find it on my guitar or tuner. And if you had a built in tuner in the app in addition, that’d be even better. Then you could loop a note and see on the tuner what the note is.

5/5Worth the price for how easy it is to use!
I’ve tried Anytune, and although apps like those are great for transcriptions, they are very limited in terms of what types of audio you can import. This app has little to no limitations besides the iCloud limitation, which is completely understandable since it’s the law. However, you can literally import any audio that is directly on your device whether if it’s in your camera roll on in a file. It’s so awesome! I’d say for how much your getting, it is much better than spending a monthly payment on other apps. Prior to this app, I used Anytune, but once I switched to this app, there is literally nothing better that you can get on your iPhone.

New Feature: Link Loops! We've added a link toggle to loops in both Waveform View and Loop View. Toggle the link icons on to connect loops and they will play consecutively without any break. This is great for when you have learned each phrase and want to string them together. Toggle the link icons off to return to individual loops.

Reverted recent changes to the way the music picker worked. Some users preferred the old method and this may also resolve a few cases of iCloud being in limbo and preventing users from accessing music that is downloaded to the device.
