  1. 5/5Awesome for ordering pizza for both pickup and delivery

I must say that I love the Slice app and the concept of giving more of the revenue to the pizza shops especially local shops and we have always had good ordering accuracy and never had an issue with the over 10 different pizza shops we’ve tried from the Slice app in different states up and down the East Coast of the US. Some cash only shops will actually except Slice orders but not take a credit card which adds an extra layer of convenience and accessibility for folks looking to operate cashless but also spend their money with local establishments. The fees are almost nothing compared to DoorDash and or Uber eats GrubHub etc. those apps are ridiculous my only complaint with Slice the app itself is that the rewards are really messed up right now and have become very hard to earn which is OK as I don’t use the app with intent to earn the pizza rewards for a cheese pizza as it isn’t my usual order anyway but it was fun to earn prior to the chAnges. annoying to have my five or six points wiped out because my local shops no longer participate but again it’s just the rewards that are messed up and I love the Slice app and could not recommend it enough if you’re looking to order pizza thank you

  2. 5/5Mystery Gazebo

This company has the WORST service. It’s built on a wall of incompetent button pushers, who have no clue how to track a pizza or there drivers. DUCATIES MYRTLE BEACH, SC uses them. We live only a few blocks from Ducatis in Living Dunes and have been regulars with their pizza. However, last night we ordered two pies and a salad. We never received our order. They use a company called SLICE which makes Ducatis look horrible. My pizza, after being told for over an hour it was on the way, was left at some gazebo in Myrtle Beach. That’s right, some gazebo in Myrtle Beach. There’s NO GAZEBO in my neighborhood. And customer service told me twenty lies or more. Then argued with me that it was on my doorstep. Till they sent a picture from the driver. “The gazebo drop!” is not my front door, is not in my neighborhood and no one has a clue where that is. By the time they come clean and said the driver dumped it, (after taking my money and tilp) Dutactis was closed. I tried to call but they would pickup and hang up the phone. No worries. We ate grilled cheese sandwiches. I’m out over $60 bucks with no pizza, no apologies, and no returned calls. Great pizza, terrible delivery system and no apologies. There’s too many pizza joints in Myrtle Beach to stay committed to this kind of slack. Whenever owns Ducatis needs to DUMP their contract with SLICE at that mystery gazebo where my pizza is. Sorry systems = sorry business.

  3. 1/5Bait & Switch

I pulled up a local pizza shop’s webpage to remind myself to preorder a pizza for when they opened. They recommended I use the slice app, and since they were not open for a few hours I downloaded the app. Then, I went back to the website and clicked the link to route me to their page within slice. So far, so good. I saw their logo and double checked the location since I was out of my area when placing the order. I then went in to my meeting, left the app open on that page, and when I came out placed the order. That evening, I went to get my pizza, but as I was driving noticed it said another place on the other side of town. My first thought was did I pick the wrong place, but when going back into the app to check I saw the logo and remembered going to that page specifically. Then, I went to the other places page within slice, and it was the exact same page, just a css wrapper for the top banner color and logo. If you were down past the banner, when you order, like I was you would never know the page had switched on you. Sure, they send a confirmation and all, but sadly for me, I trusted the process and did not check it until it was too late. It seems like they may be pushing people toward their more favorable partners with more locations. Either way, bad experience overall. You know how it is when you have a place in mind, and wait all day, and then someone swaps it for a place much less desirable. You just don’t do that to somebody. Not to mention your business partners. 🙅‍♂️🙅‍♀️🙅

  4. 1/5Don’t use location feature on app and horrible customer service

This was my first time using the app, and I allowed it to use my location to order. Since it showed all the pizza places around me, seemed all was well. Turns out the location feature is inaccurate and pinged me about half a mile from my location. Note that I have never had an issue with the location feature on any other app (Waze, Google Maps, Uber Eats, Grubhub, etc). They also don’t have a check in place to have you confirm your address before you place your order. In hindsight, I should have checked the address, but again, never had this issue before. As soon as I realized the error, I called Slice and gave them my address. But it was too late...my food had already been delivered to the wrong address. To make matters worse the person at that address (whom I do not know) accepted the food and then committed fraud by signing their name to my credit card slip. I called Slice to tell them what happened, and their response was pretty much, “Oh well.” I explained that I didn’t enter the wrong address; their app location feature is faulty. I explained someone had taken my food and signed their name to my credit card slip. I told them this was the first time I had used the app and asked if this was really the experience they wanted me to have. Again, a big, “Oh well.” No apology. No attempt to make anything right. Nothing. App is deleted from phone, and I suggest you don’t even download it.

  5. 3/5This app has issues

The app seems to be pretty good looking and is pretty easy to navigate. But they have some locations wrong on their in app map so a restaurant that is 2 miles away is showing up on their app as being 6+ miles away even though they have the correct address. This causes the user to have to do a search for the restaurant. Of course if you didn’t know the restaurant was where it really is you wouldn’t know it was closer to your location than the app says it is. I contacted them about the issue and didn’t seem to actually read or understand what I clearly stated in my messages to them. I went so far as attaching pictures of the maps of where the restaurant is and where their app showed the restaurant to be. If that’s what they call customer service I would not want to have a more pressing issue with them. I downloaded the app and was using it because T-Mobile had a T-Mobile Tuesday’s deal. Honestly it’s not worth using the app without a discount since I can call the restaurant directly and pick up my food and not have to pay a dollar fee for using the app. Especially when they can’t do something as simple as placing a restaurant in the right location on a map. I let the restaurant know about the issue maybe they will have more success getting them to fix the issue. I’ll go back to ordering the old fashioned way.

  3. 3/5

This is an extremely buggy app with an abundance of very clearly fake reviews. It is a complete crapshoot whether an order will be viewable in this app.

  4. 1/5

Be very careful with this service. According to their T&C: "Charges paid by you are final and non-refundable. Slice has no obligation to provide refunds or credits." My pizza was never delivered as driver got lost despite me being on phone with Slice for 30 mins trying to navigate the delivery driver who could not speak English. The restaurant marked the order completed over two hours late so Slice said no refund. My credit card company had a different opinion thankfully.

great resource , I love how it automatically searches for your location and puts up the closest available pizza shops. prices aren't ridiculously inflated compared to other food delivery apps I love slice and I'm grateful they're here cuz it makes finding pizza in places I'm not familiar with a lot easier
