2. 3/5A fine app, some flaws.

   The app is overall easy to use. The quality is great and there’s plenty of variety. The ads aren’t very invasive but can get mildly annoying while browsing stations; The more you interact with the app, the more ads you’ll get. The jukebox feature is odd, to say the least. At first I thought it was a way to categorize stations based on their genre. This theory was quickly debunked, considering there’s only around five stations per genre. I was hopeful, waiting to see if the jukebox’s stations swapped out daily or even weekly to introduce you to more stations. This doesn’t seem to be the case, either. I honestly see this feature as wasted potential. My biggest criticism of the app is that it doesn’t showcase track names. On numerous occasions I’ve found songs I enjoyed, only to be disappointed by the daunting thought of never hearing them again. I find this feature basic. Even car radios have this. How am I to appreciate the music if the song and artist names aren’t provided? This was what brought me to the app in the first place. I wanted to expose myself to music I’ve never heard before. Another small criticism is about the paywall, namely what lies behind it. Instead of simply offering an ad-free experience, it lures you in with blocking simple quality of life features. This includes a sleep timer and larger favorites library. I find the latter the most nonsensical. Why punish us for enjoying the stations provided by the app? This is all for now. 3. 5/5I love Simple Radio!

   I can listen to my favorite stations wherever I am (as long as I have aces to wi-fi I think).. I like to listen mostly to talk radio so am happy to have so many choices of news sources; informative medical, old-time radio programs from all over the country and the World ). I search by keyword for talk radio subjects or music genre that I like to listen to and have found Animal Radio, a couple of science radio The Engineered Network, classical music, classical guitar, CSPAN, and my local public talk station so I am very happy to have found Simple Radio. I listen when out for a walk and to relax when I go to sleep (I set a sleep timer on the program, and am usually asleep before the timer shuts off... that way when the shows rerun I catch up on what I missed).

4. 4/5Alarm please!!!

   Unless you just need a bedtime timer to shut the thing off stick with the free version. The ads aren't really that big of deal. I bought the app, $3.99, stupidly thinking that "timer" meant alarm. Wrong. You are basically paying for no ads and a bedtime shutoff timer. Where's the alarm? Was hoping to can my bedside alarm clock for this app. Urghhh. I'm going to look for an app that does what this app does but has an alarm. Sound quality is great. Never lost a station. The app even cast to my Google home easily. Felt the app was a little limited on local stations but I found every station in the Dallas area that I listen to 95% of the time. Did I mention the app has no alarm!?! Below is the developers reply. Thank you. After reading I’ve found out that an alarm won’t do much since Apple has not opened the alarm app to developers. This may or may not be true. Is so the feature is useless as I discovered from another app. Used the app all day never lost signal with station. Easy to use and loving it more each day. Changing star rating from three to four.

5. 4/5This used to be a REALLY GOOD APP!

   Okay folks! I sorry! But I will be the first to admit that I'm really fed up! I'm one of their premium members subscribers,, but I will not be renewing my subscription when it comes time to do so. Why, because half the stations I click on WILL NOT CONNECT! You report it and they do nothing! They wanna just automate the thing sit back and take yo money and say HAW! Well It don't work like that chillums! Not if you want MY MONEY! Also we need more station information! Baud rate whose playing where the thing is located half time I don't even know thingsings like that. I sure wish they'd bring the old one back this thing used to be truly killer! One my favorite Apps guess they sold it to somebody doesn't give a hang! Well they gonna kill it they keep on like this. Really DISAPPOINTED in these folks! They no longer even bothering answering their email or I would not need to do this. Streema if you want to stay in business! GET IT together!!!!
