   I set up this up at all my parties and friend hangouts. Even if it’s just girl’s night we have so much fun just taking different pictures and the online gallery always cracks me up the day after our shenanigans lol My bestie even asked to borrow my setup for her wedding. I was a little nervous TBH but it was a huge hit and everything went flawlessly. I just wish I’d had it at my wedding bc the Photo Booth the DJ brought for free was NOT good. The setup I have now is prolly better than his “professional” one lol. So glad I discovered Simple Booth! The only thing I wish it had was more themes because I love it so much.

   I’m giving this two stars because My daughter had a graduation and she recommended the simple Booth for our business. She set it up under her name. We use our business card to pay for it during her graduation. I decided to use it for other events and realized that all of our new pictures was under her account. I logged out of her account and I created my own account and when I made a payment that should be applied to my account it applied the subscription to her account even though I was not logged in under her account when I made the payment. It tells me that I have to login under her account if I want to use the subscription I just paid for and there’s no support ready ready to call to get it fixed . I did a chat and they said that they were responding, but I haven’t heard anything back yet. We want to use it for the business and we paid for a business plan. We are in crunch time trying to get ready for an event and cannot use the services that we paid for.

3. 3/5Settings wouldn’t save

   Very disappointed in the app this time around. I used this app for my best friend’s baby shower a couple years ago and it worked fantastically. This time around I couldn’t get it to work properly at all. I set it up to take strips of three photos however, every time I tried to take a photo, it kept defaulting to a single. Also, despite ensuring the iPad was an appropriate distance away and the screen and test photo was clear, not a single photo we took actually came out clear. overall, I found the set up to be incredibly challenging this time around and none of my photos saved. It was a waste of $30 and memories lost. Additionally may I suggest the save option default to saving onto the device or into the app. I had so much trouble setting up the app this time around that I didn’t notice neither were selected.

4. 3/5Test After Each Update read this

   I’m giving this app 3 stars because when it works it is really good. I have had 4 events where bugs in the app ruined my clients experience. Whenever there are updates there are BUGS. All kinds of glitches. I tried to give up on the app but I really like the features, so I keep coming back. Today at my event it kept randomly performing updates to the app and would not stop. I eventually had to use an alternative app. Bummer! I get home perform the update and it “appears” to be okay. I don’t trust any of their updates. I have another event coming up and I hope this app doesn’t fail me. The development team needs to beta test better before pushing out! Too many bugs in updates. Good app that needs stability!!! I’m giving it one more chance.

5. 1/5Dont update the app!!

   This used to be a great app but the recent update has taken away several options, including the option to add a logo. It seems much more difficult to navigate and they dont have a customer support number. I dont expect to hear back from them before my event, which is super frustrating. Unfortunately this will be my last time using this app. I would recommend using an app that is more user friendly. Update: Im frustrated at the developer response.. their own customer service team acknowledged how many complaints they were getting regarding these updates. I stand by my original review. The app went from being user friendly to being incredibly difficult to figure out. Again, I DO NOT recommend using this app. There are plenty of other services out there you can use!
