  1. 5/5Really Fantastic!

I downloaded Shotsy and have been using it regularly for almost two years now. Im an annual subscriber because I felt the benefits were worth the cost. I will definitely keep it around, because I still use it. I am in maintenance now, but I really still love this app. I appreciate the regular updates and especially the widgets. The customization is intuitive and I really like how I am able to add my own side effects, scheduling, dose, etc. I recommend trying it. In the beginning I tried to use notebooks, spreadsheets, even a wall calendar, to log everything. I couldn’t keep up. The app makes logging easier and seeing progress makes it fun, plus looking back is motivating. You all did a fantastic job on this. Keep it up! I also wanted to add how grateful I am that privacy is taken seriously, no tracking, no nonsense, no data harvesting, if you choose to it’s easy, if you choose not to, that’s simple as well. You are in control of your personal information, and these days that’s not always the case. Definitely try this one, I know it’s the best out there. Thanks so much for making this app.

  2. 5/5So glad I heard of Shotsy

During my first week on Zepbound I was researching something and I came across a graph that someone posted where they were tracking their progress. The graph was from Shotsy. I had already been keeping notes on where I was injecting my shots, my weight, the amount of protein I was getting each day (its importance had been highly emphasized), and water intake. This app seemed to have it all (and more) in one place. But as soon as I saw that after a one week trial I would have to pay, I had my usual reaction - nope. But the more I read about the app, the more I decided it would be worth trying it out. With what I’m paying out of pocket for Zepbound, the cost is a minimal addition that is making my life much easier! I will be going for my one month follow up with my doctor next week, and I think the app is going to allow me to show her all of my results and side effects and notes and protein intake, etc. in a very concise way. So far I’ve not encountered a single glitch with this app (amazing!). I highly recommend Shotsy to help keep you organized and motivated on your GLP-1 journey.

  3. 5/5Great app for tracking GLP-shots and weight

This app is really great- I wish it was around when I first started! I used a spreadsheet I found online to track in the beginning but I switched to shotsy when it was available. I went back and put in all my data. It lets you track all the things you’d need- each shot you can put the time, dosage, and a detailed location. The app uses the half life of the med to give you an idea of the levels. You can also put in your weight each day so that you see a chart of your weight loss. You can also put in your calories and protein if you want. I also like that there’s a spot for notes each day, so I can put in there if I’m out of town or on vacation or ate a special meal or something. The one little thing I’ve noticed that is weird is that when you open the app, it can take a bit before your data shows up. I’m not sure if it’s loading from local storage or the cloud, but a few times I thought the app was stuck only to come back and the data showed up. But overall it’s about the perfect app for a GLP-1 user.

  4. 5/5Easy to use, informative and helpful

Easy and helpful way to set a goal and watch my progress while taking the medication. I have appreciated that it connects to other apps in my phone if I want it to track my weight or allows me to enter things manually. In the beginning I used it without a goal set and liked just see whatever progress I made and liked having flexibility of shot days or reminders if taking the shots on a schedule. In time I chose to set small obtainable goals and having met them I can reset a new goal when I’m ready. I’m able to notice patterns and correlation to estimated mediations level to how I am feeling and responding to the medication which helps me to plan and prepare for possible symptoms in advance. And of course I love seeing that downward trending of my loss over time. It’s nice to be able to see how I have done over a short period of time or the entire time on the medication. I highly recommend it to anyone taking a GLP 1 medication.

  5. 5/5Fantastic comprehensive GLP-1 tracker

I wanted a tracker in which to record my weekly injections and track my weights to have all relevant data in one handy place. I looked at a handful of them, but only Shotsy appealed to my nursing sense of documentation and organization. This app gathers the important data involved with GLP-1 therapy - dates, dosages, weights, side effects, and calculates averages based on those data points. It provides a visual graph of weight and also estimates the amount of medication in the body as the week goes on. Practically perfect in every way and well worth the subscription cost. The developer is very responsive and helpful with any issues. The only suggestion I’d offer would be the ability to rearrange sections as desired - between doses, I’d love to have the weight at the top so that I can quickly log daily weights. But that’s a minor tweak, and the app is perfectly functional and useful as is. I’ve recommended to several friends and patients who are on GLP-1 therapy.
