1. 5/5Super great with a few major pains

   If I go in and out of the main “live” it brings bring me back to the very beginning and to get back to the end is not easy. Either tapping a ton on the right, or if I use the arrow down to get the items bar it’s super touchy and closes every other second. I kept “losing” the item i wanted to buy in the huge que of live items. Hope that makes sense. Bc it’s supppppper frustrating. Otherwise it’s an amazing idea and great app.

2. 1/5ALL BAGS CAME FAULTY - NOT AS DESCRIBED

   I’ve ordered 4 bags from them. Not only do they take OVER a month to arrive, but none of the bags came as described. The first one, they sent the wrong bag with a missing peeled off piece of leather and they accepted that it and returned the bag. Of course the process wasn’t quick. But Great, honest mistake. So I decided to place more orders. The next set of 3 bags I ordered were advertised as BRAND NEW. They arrived, one was damaged and had bending marks all throughout and mind you, it’s a white Bottega so VERY visible. The Black bag came defective, with uneven lining and markings all throughout. I emailed them and instead of refunding me and accepting the returns, they tell me that they will only do so if I spend another $1500 on their app before April 15. Screams scam to me. I’ve disputed the bag with my card so I’m not sure what will happen there but I’m currently out $2000+ of defective bags and then today I notice that the 4th bag has a small faint PEN MARK. Yes pen mark. I tried to clean it off but it left a mark. I’m shocked with every purchase. Every single item I purchased was faulty. I wish I never spent a dime. I haven’t even attempted to use or wear any of the bags. They have their tags still on.

3. 1/5Bad customer service, items not in disclosed condition

   I purchased an item from a seller, and it was marked as “good” condition, with only a minor blemish. When my order came, I was surprised with how poor the condition of the item was. I tried to resolve the matter with Shopthing customer service who gave me no help except for a scripted reply on three separate emails, and offered no help at all. After submitting a dispute to my credit card company and winning the dispute, they had me return the item “at my earliest convenience”. Obviously I didn’t mind that. However, 4 days after the email with the return shipping was sent out, they sent me another email which threatened to bring me to court as “fraud” because they have not heard back from me yet. In reality, I shipped the item back, but I chose to not reply to their email as I do not want to be dealing with customer service anymore after the horrible interaction i had the first time. Being threatened by customer service took the cake for me. Wouldn’t recommend anyone buying items from private sellers from this app.

4. 2/5Cool concept, shipping and customer service is a nightmare

   I want to love this app. I really, really do. I think the concept is cool, they generally have a good selection of items, and overall it’s a really fun experience trying to snag unique items at a discount. However I am extremely disappointed with the customer service from the team and would warn others to proceed with caution. I’ve placed 10 orders in the past few months and have had issues with the majority. The items I’ve purchased haven’t been cheap either. When you’re spending that kind of money, you expect a decent level of customer service. Which just isn’t there. There are almost always issues with shipping. I’ve had only one order that actually went smoothly, arrived on time, and wasn’t a back and forth issue with support. I’ve had orders get cancelled without any explanation from their team. I’ve also had an order most recently “get lost in transit” that they can’t replace. The rest of my orders have taken over a month to even get a tracking number. One order never made it to me due to their error, was sent back to their fulfillment center, and I still haven’t received a full refund. This was months ago. Like I said cool concept, but proceed with caution.

   I see some similar experiences to mine and wanted to share an honest review from someone who is also a paid VIP subscriber. The app itself certainly needs fixes, it is not particularly convenient if you want to stay on top of ‘stories’. The main feed will forget your place and you have to go back through everything again. But like others my poor experience is largely customer service. When you order an item expect it to take at least a month to arrive, they will no expedite and even the paid ‘faster shipping’ is no better. Also I have on multiple occasions bought items for over a thousand dollars to only be told oops the item isn’t actually available. So be willing to roll the dice and be without your money only to have the order cancelled and refunded 6 weeks later. If you aren’t concerned with these factors than it will likely work for you. Just don’t get your heart set on the perfect deal you secured because even after your order is confirmed they will cancel it if the product ‘magically’ disappears from their supplier.
