1. 4/5Parking convenience & Danger

   The park app is very convenient and time saving. The rule to pull into spots is dangerously ridiculous. People can be xyz and intentionally fly up behind you as you are mid-blackout, so they can feel powerful and push themselves to be first. Young and old have done this! Its the current culture I suppose, but it’s absolutely dangerous for the rule follower. Is it a law one must park a certain fashion? Does SEPTA have cameras at each station to capture those taking advantage of a situation?

2. 1/5Just does not work

   Maybe the first 2-3 weeks this app was out I was able to use it to pay for my parking. There was some difficulty with it, especially when entering payment information, but I was able to get it to work. Additionally, it would always forget my card info even though I saved it, so I constantly had to re-enter everything. However for ages now, it just straight up does not work. It doesn’t let me sign in. If I try to use my Apple ID, the screen pops up, it does a Face ID scan successfully, and then the little loading dots pop up, then they disappear and it just leaves me on the same sign in page. I’ve tried ALL of the other methods to sign in. Tried making new account using an email instead, my phone etc. And it just never lets me in. I’ve made sure the app is updated, I’ve restarted my phone, I’ve deleted it and redownloaded it. Just can’t get it to work, I have to pay at the kiosk every time.

3. 1/5Need to fix payment process.

   Incredibly frustrating that i need to enter the same payment information several times each day when attempting to pay for parking. The app will not save my card details, whether at time of payment and checking the box to save it or in my account to add a payment option, just errors every time. Even after typing in all of my payment info, it’s a total shot in the dark if the app will even process my payment. This is entirely on septa’s side, because i still get my credit card notifications that a transaction was initiated yet the septa app will have an error or crash out of the process. Sometimes after several attempts to pay and several errors, the app will refresh and suddenly it will show that i have parking without ever confirming.

4. 3/5Needs alternate payment options

   Most of the time this seems to work. However there are mornings that the app will not connect to my bank and so my payment doesn’t go through. I’ve called to pay by phone and all I get is an option to text, which then connects to the app and of course doesn’t work. I realize this may be due to low connectivity, but if that is the case at some septa parking lots there needs to be a pay by phone or other option that doesn’t link to the app. Like I said, this is an occasional issue but I’ve gotten tickets or wasted an hour of time In the phone without a resolution.

5. 1/5Waste of Storage and Time; fix Septa App!

   This app has given me a hard time since day one. I feel like a grandpa when I use it; I click anything too fast or 'wrong', the app just CRASHES. It's so unnecessarily dramatic, and because of how often these crashes occur, it can take me a half an hour to pay for parking. By that time I'm already at work lol. It's also just ridiculously redundant that SEPTA made ANOTHER APP to pay for parking? Hello? Did you forget you already have an existing app to add onto? Not to mention the added fact of that app ALREADY HAVING UNDERLYING ISSUES that have REMAINED UNRESOLVED FOR YEARS. As a consistent SEPTA rider I'm unbelievably frustrated with the idiotic choices being made here.
