I had QuickBooks self-employment. My phone updated one night the app changed the self-employment accounting and all the data that I had input for the entire year disappeared overnight. I tried to download the app again and none of my transactions were there and now the app is more difficult to maneuver. I tried to sign up for a different QuickBooks and when it downloaded my transactions, it would only go back three months and now I’m here in January 2025 having to go through all of my transactions for 2024 and put all of my information back in. Definitely giving you a one star and as soon as I get my information back in, I’ll be canceling my subscription and going with a different company. You’re extremely hard to get in touch with. I can’t get anyone to answer my calls or emails.

3/5Can’t add image receipt from photo
There is no way to attach a photo receipt if the receipt was sent through email. There is only a way to scan your receipt to save a receipt. When adding a transaction, it does not allow you to add cents because there is no button to add a decimal. The only way to do it is after you save your transaction, you would need to edit the transaction and in that you will find a .00 at the end of your amount. The app can sometimes be slow too. I love how its user - friendly, large buttons, big and bold words are great.

3/5There’s room for improvement
Although the app is user-friendly and easy to use, it needs to be updated with some different features. Please change it so that we can put decimal points when adding expenses and income. You can only add decimals if you edit the transaction after posting it. Changing the date of the transaction also seem to not work. You have to delete the transaction and start all over. Which is a pain. Also, sometimes receipts are digital because we buy things online, please add a feature where we can just upload the receipt instead of taking a picture of it. Forcing you make a review every time you do a transaction is also very annoying…

2/5Let see how it goes, missing a few features and spams for a review are annoying
Started using the app and I have mixed feelings. While esthetics are fine and easy to understand, I don’t like how some customizing features are missing, like for example adding an account number in the vendor tab which is very much elemental for an accounting software. In addition, the spamming request for a review on a paid subscription shouldn’t be a thing. I will continue to experience the app and see how it gets better since I already paid for the yearly subscription, but this is what I go so far.
