School Buddy - Student Planner

Awesome news! This update introduces some of the most requested features to assignments. You can now edit any assignment and easily convert an assignment into a grade! To do this, tap on the assignment and choose the action near the bottom on the 'Assignments' page! Do you use Google Classroom? In the last update, we introduced the ability to connect to Classroom to import your assignments. Tap the + on the Assignments page to connect!

We found some bugs flying around, so we decided to place them in a jar away from the app. Alongside the bug relocation, we improved our support experience. It’s now easier than ever to find the answers you want! You can maybe even learn something new about the app! Did you ever have a new neighbor move in and you want to welcome them to your community? Well, this update is sorta like that. Send over a friendly and warm welcome the School tab which in a sense is a next door neighbor to the Assignments and Profile tab. Once your school joins the School Buddy for Schools platform, you can enter the shortcode and you’ll receive important school updates such as announcements straight from your school here. Pretty cool, right? If your school hasn’t joined the platform, reach out to customer support in the app and we’ll connect with them to get started. We can’t wait to continue to build on this platform and show you what’s next. Until we meet again! (oh and some warm cookies and milk is a great house warming gift)

Sometimes in life we forget things. It happens. We're humans. (unless...). This update aims to reduce the possibility of forgetting upcoming due dates. Now you'll receive two different notifications for upcoming assignments — one the night before and one the morning of a due date. This feature has been requested by many and we're so glad to finally get it in your hands! Let us know what you think! If push notifications aren't your jam :( you can always disable in the in-app settings. Talk soon!

Now that loads of students are going back to school, we decided to make these times a little more joyful! This update aims to add some color to your life. Users running iOS 14 and above are now able to edit the class color which appears at the top of a class when viewing the class details. You can edit the class color by tapping the '+' on the class details page. If you're not running this version of iOS (or above!), the support team will be more than happy to change the color for you! You're now able to import grades automatically from a screenshot! No more needing to type them out one by one.

This release introduces three new widgets! Add these widgets to your home screen to easily keep track of what assignments you have coming up!

This release introduces the Apple Watch app! The watch app is an easy way to see upcoming due dates right from your wrist.

You can now assign weight values to grades and courses for more reliable tracking and prediction

Introducing Flashcards: the easiest way to study for an upcoming exam and review your material. Flashcards support different studying modes and images on cards! We're going to keep improving flashcards to make them more useful and fun!

This release adds support for French and Spanish! Even more users are able to enjoy the app now!

School Buddy officially supports three more languages! We're happy to add support for Chinese (traditional), Chinese (simplified), and German!

This release allows you to long press on a completed assignment and convert it to a grade in the associated course
