   App offers little control over speaker. My Sonos Five began life this morning with solid bass. After using the “room adjust” feature, the treble remains but the bass is gone. Now I see no way to get it back. Where did the Settings Option go? Does Sonos think that letting customers guess at how to control speakers is a good way to do business, OR IS IT BETTER TO PROVIDE DYSFUNTIONAL APPS? No directions are available to do much of anything. Maybe I will just return it and get a receiver with normal bookshelf speakers. Sorry, I was using the speaker setup app instead of the main Sonos app, and that was the source of my frustration. All good now. It is late and I am tired. Poor time to write a review.

2. 1/5The App Does Nothing

   I got the 3-day trial which turns into a $30/year cost. Apparently, I could skip the free trial and give them less money ($25) for lifetime use. I guess it's cheaper for a lifetime because you only realize you're chested after you bought it. This app does less than Apple Music or other apps I have for free or a lot less. Under settings you'd expect an equalizer and other sound & speaker adjustments. Nope you get a link to rate the, a link to a privacy statement, terms of use, and a link to more apps I certainly wouldn't get. There are no settings to be had. I've had this app for minutes of surprise, but it will be gone right after saving this review.

   I’ve had Sonos for years and it’s been the same crappy connection. Every time I’d call they would tell me it’s my WiFi channel this and WiFi channel that. So I’ve given up with spotty service. The upgrades have been a joke and I feel like it only makes the connection worse. The speakers have blown on me and there is a lousy warranty and they want me to buy another with only a small discount. Horrible company, horrible customer service. It’s only a matter of time before they sink this ship and something better comes along.

4. 1/5No functionality

   I downloaded the S1 and S2 controller for Sonos app and the first day It worked fine the next day I have no access to the app. It doesn’t connect to my Sonos nor can I make the statement “Sonos play soft jazz”. My only option was to delete the app and reinstall it and that forces me to pay the $24 again.. I cannot find any instructions or a number to call to get this resolved. I find this app very difficult to use. And I’m very disappointed with the purchase.

5. 1/5Worthless app

   This app is less than worthless, it does not do what it implies, it simply plays music, which you can do with any app. It asks to track your usage across apps, and attempts dishonestly to get you to pay more per month than Apple Music, for something that is likely free. I don’t know where they are getting 5 star reviews from.
