1. 5/5Nice App - Great Customer Service

   I bought a year subscription on Black Friday last year and unfortunately got auto-renewed without knowing, getting charged the full price of a year subscription. I thought I cancelled my subscription and the application was not super helpful in dealing with the issue. I called customer service and within seconds was put through to Matthew who did an outstanding job of explaining the issue and authorized a refund immediately. I appreciate this level of customer service and responsiveness. The app itself was nice, and largely did what it was intended to do. The distances were mostly correct and the shot tracking was usually accurate. I think a real game changer for them would be adding a feature like 18Birdies where you can pay for a subscription that allows you to see true yardage that takes into account elevation, wind speed, outside temperature, etc. I would recommend this app to a friend.

   I’ve used several different golf apps over the past many years and V1 Game is the best I’ve found so far. Accurate, easy-to-consume yardage information to guide shot selection? Check. Simple, efficient and comprehensive shot tracking data capture, including an Apple Watch app? Check. An amazing range of advanced stats, including strokes gained calculations, to help you understand your game and plot its improvement? Check. For me, it’s the stats set this app apart from the others I’ve tried....they are impressive and will only get more so the more rounds you capture. Also, for someone like me who plays the vast majority of my golf on one course, I like the ability to visually display the history of my shots on each hole. And, I like the ability to easily share information with my swing coach. It’s a very new app, so I look forward to seeing how V1 Sports takes it forward.

   I’ve used several apps and devices to track my distances and rounds over the years. I used to love Game Golf until the battery died in the belt device and I learned you couldn’t change it out. Terrible design, basically a $200 throw away device. I decided to give V1 a try and couldn’t be happier. No more RFID buttons screwed into my grips and no more manual tagging my shots! I love this app! I use the Apple Watch feature and I t’s accurate, easy to use once you figure out how to mark all your penalty and recovery shots, and the stats I get really help me focus on things I need to do to improve my rounds. My last few rounds I have shaved a few strokes off and my handicap has gone down. I believe it has a lot to do with using the stats acquired from the V1 app and it how it has me rethinking working my way around the course. Well done V1!

4. 5/5Really love this app - the best app for Juniors

   This app is fabulous for recording tournament for juniors and is a great forum tonshsre results with coaches and parents and discuss trends and areas of improvement. I can't recommend this app more - however my only issue is that some of my rounds from the cloud disappeared last year and this was very frustrating - if there is a way to get those back it would be an A++++ - rather than just an A+. It doesn't have the detail of decade golf or maybe even clipped - but to me that's paralysis by analysis - this app gives shots gained and several important data points to identify strengths and weaknesses. I feel those other apps go beyond and in my opinion this is very easy to use during and after the round to get accurate stats - and the graphics are terrific.

5. 5/5Awesome app and east to use

   This app is wonderful and much better then other tracking apps out there. This ones allows you to auto track your shots so during a tournament you can still have your stats- Amazing! I like the aspect that you can customize your bag so your stats are more accurate. It’s nice even when your just playing for fun with friends because it allows you to get a yardage to a bunker or water just by tapping on it! It’s amazing how just an app can help improve your golf game. The stats feedback is unbelievable and super in depth especially if what your plugging in is as accurate as can be. I have not used the apple watch version yet, but it doesn’t run your phone battery down hardly at all unlike other similar apps with is nice.
