  1. 5/5Full time Rockbot user

I cannot select more than 2 songs at a time if 2 or more people are signed in, this is a recent update and feels discouraging to use the app, it’s a bit tedious. Perhaps this is to allow the establishment’s song pics to circulate. I would like if there was a way to send a song/artist request to the establishment admin so they could unblock certain things upon request. All the users are still unclear on how the point system racks up, I could not find a current Rockbot blog to view that info. Overall, a fun idea, and definitely keeps many patrons at the bar, requesting songs, buddying up and bonding over Rockbot. It would also be nice if there was a queue that I could add to of songs that I’d like to select after my songs have played. Or a few different playlists that I could design to choose from.

  2. 3/5Good App

I like to use this app when I was working at the gym and when I go to the gym. It’s cool because you can change the songs that are being played on the radio to what you like. Depending on the locations, certain music is available, some places will have music that you can’t find in other locations that also use Rockbot. The more that you pick music to be played, give it a thumbs up and thumbs up other people’s music, you will receive points which will then level up your account on the app. The higher your level, the more priority your music is given over others. Although it is fun and easy to use, there are a couple of things I don’t like about the app. I’ve noticed that there have been times where they just take off music from an artist I like. I don’t understand why they do this but it’s kind of annoying. Also, if you are a low level, and someone else is an exceptionally high level, and believe me, you will run into people who have very high levels, then their music is played over yours, always and without exception. They can even thumbs down your music and drop it all the way to the bottom of the queue which is annoying.

  3. 5/5Great options

I really particularly enjoy utilizing RockBot during my workouts at planet fitness I especially like the queue aspect of being able to bump up your own music and others music. I appreciate the aspect of being able to enjoy other people‘s music as well. The only thing I don’t like is Rockbot no longer does not allow you to play an artist More than four times or the next day if you played them the day prior… I typically work out every day so I enjoy working out to some of my favorite artists. That is my only giveaway. Other than that, it’s a great app.

  4. 1/5Broken app/scam

The amount of times I have tried requesting songs at the establishment that uses this app, and the venue algorithm constantly skips my upvoted songs that me and others have upvoted and the app plays the venues algorithmic downvoted songs over the requested ones THAT ARE PAID FOR even though that is not how the app is supposed to work. I am tired of it and this is a broken app. They haven’t fixed it in years and at this point, they’re just scamming me. Per their support and website if a song is up voted, it is supposed to play sooner and vice versa. If a song is downloaded, it is supposed to take longer to play yet it constantly does not play the songs that I up voted paid for other people up voted and the other songs are downloaded it’s broken and I’m tired of not saying anything about it for years I’m literally paying for nothing at this point and it’s not right

  5. 3/5Used to be great now its mid

If you used the rockbot HQ to level up your dj you could play quite a few songs, or buy boosts if your level is low, you could play about. A dozen songs or so before generic songs started to pepper their way into the playlist. Now you basically choose three songs at your venue and then forced to listen to over a dozen generic before your next song plays and even when that next one plays itll take another 10 minutes for the other two. I have also bought boosts since the change but it sill only give you an extra 3 songs then after those three play your back to waiting ages to hear any of your next ones. For someone who has been using the app for years it is a big let down.
