1/5Impressed they did this bad
I would give 0 stars but I can’t. This type of app is so simple to make, yet they somehow make it horrible, I’m actually impressed. So I updated this app recently and tried to log in, I forgot my password so I tried a few. I got them all wrong so it said my account was locked for a few minutes(apparently a few minutes is an hour but I guess it’s fine) after a few days of trying to reset my password, I see I have to update it again. I’m able to log in now but what do I see? A horrible simple app turned into an even worse app. It has way too much stuff(like why are there lessons? I went to drivers ed for a reason). To add onto that, my hours were deleted. I thought, it’s fine I’ll manually put them in. Why are they asking for the miles I drove? I guess and put 10 because I’m logging day hours and can’t put more or it will log some at night. Apparently these big brained coders didn’t pass kindergarten math because they thought 10 hours = 4 hours. In conclusion, this app is absolutely atrocious and is way overly coded for what it’s for. I think a toddler could do better. To the dev team, do better, don’t try to “show off” your “skills.”

1/5Lost entire log ALL 50 HOURS DAY OF EXAM
I had no issues with this app until today, the day of my road test(50 hours total). I opened the app this morning only to find it had logged me out(I believe as a result of an update I was unaware of). I attempted to log back in but my prior password refused to work, and even then the password reset was unbelievably confusing. When I thought I had finally managed to log back in, the entire app interface had changed and none of my hours where there. Even when I tried to add my previous email, it stated I could not add it. I couldn’t locate a log-out option and was forced to delete that account, possibly deleting my original account in the process. I contacted support yet they never responded and I was unable to recover my log. In the end I lost all 50 hrs and had to reschedule my exam. I highly recommend using a different app, printing out your log every few weeks, or just using the paper logs. Save yourself the struggle and disaster I experienced using this app. And the people who made this app need to actually think before they send out updates, like maybe sending everyone their logs just in case they lose them?!

1/5Worst app on the whole store
The one thing the programmers of this app ever succeeded at in life was making the least reliable program for logging driving hours. After the latest update, trying to log my past drives became an unnecessarily complicated process. You now have to manually enter a start and end time from a drop down menu that goes in 15-minute intervals starting from 1 am. Truly something only a sadist could ever come up with. But if you thought that was the only issue, then bless your heart. In order to waste your time even more, you now have to enter the distance you drove, which was not a requirement in the previous app. And to top it all off, this app now requires your location in order to log drives, even for past drives (otherwise you’ll be stuck on a loading screen for hours). Additionally, transferring accounts from the previous version of the app to the current one is such a chore… if you are a teen then your parent account has to invite you to the app via an email the app sends out. It took me a good 10 minutes of waiting and resending the invite before I realized that all the emails were arriving in the junk folder (where this app belongs). Until that teen account is linked, the app is literally useless because it doesn’t show your hours at all. This is the first time I’ve ever seen an app require two phones to have it installed in order for the program to actually work, and I do have to say that it is an extremely stupid concept.

1/5Fire the Developers. Update more buggy than a mosquito convention
When I downloaded this app two years ago when my daughter was taking drivers Ed, it worked just fine. Simple, no issues. Now my son it’s taking driver’s ed and up until two weeks ago, the app worked fine. Then there was an update and the app ceased being able to log a drive, producing an error message when I tried to do so. Then I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. Even worse problems. It wouldn’t let me log in. Then it said I was logged in, only to take me right back to the login screen. I logged a complaint thinking that surely the devs would correct the problem with an imminent update. Nope. Still has issues logging in. I had to make an “instructor account” and add my teenagers to the account via invitation. Then my son could login but I couldn’t. But not for long. Two days later, HE couldn’t login either. Then I was able to login briefly this afternoon, but now when I tried to login again, we are back to the “yes you successfully logged in, and we’ll just take you right back to the login page instead of actually opening the app. This app is terrible, no longer works, and now I need a way to pull all of my son’s data out of the app and use something else to track his hours. The negative reviews are real. Don’t you dare use this app. Instead find a solution that actually works.

1/5Update destroys usability
The app was good in its previous form. It would occasionally not continue tracking a drive, but for the most part it was stable. I used it to track the permit and post license driving for my son and half of the permit driving for my daughter. All was well, then they updated the app. I see what they were trying to do, but it is a terrible failure. The amount of work to set up my account on an app I was already using was excessive. Now the app logs me out as a user after a couple of drives, won’t allow me to use Face ID for login even though I’ve selected it, and since yesterday, won’t even finish the login process. Now I can’t get to the point when I can log a drive, which is the only reason this app exists. The app was not even close to being stable enough to release the update. I have never reviewed an app before, but the developers need to understand that you completely messed up with the update, it has rendered your app less than usable. Regardless of my feelings about the 60 hour requirement levied by NC for permit driving, the ability to track drives and print out the log is necessary. This update was not ready for game time. Please fix.
