4/5One change/addition would make this better
I like this app. I work from home as a transcriber, and I needed something to remind me to get up, move around, take a break for a few minutes. I like the variety of sounds available and the ability to create multiple timers for different situations. The one thing that would make this 5-star for me would be the ability to add more intervals. For example, I like to transcribe for 45 minutes, take a 15-minute break to do a household chore, proofread for 15 minutes, take a 5-minute break, then repeat the whole cycle. Right now I’ve handled it by creating two different timers and starting the second one once the first one is finished - but sometimes I forget to start the second timer.

2/5Really falls short
Needed this app post-knee-replacement surgery to time ice on/ice off, nebulizer breathing and walking for 10min every hour. While you can set the alarms you want appropriately, the app then fails. You can only set the alarm sound to either ring once, which is useless if you’re farther than 10ft from your phone, or not. The “not” rings continuously with, get this, no way to turn off the sound without turning off the alarm! The whole point of a continuous alarm is to not reset it! Then, if you have multiple reminders set and one’s alarm goes off, it doesn’t tell you which one is ringing!! Really needs work and I regret making the purchase. While writing this, I got an app notification that said, “timer done.” WHICH TIMER??!? Useless.

5/5Very useful app
I use this app to time my (mostly) daily repetitive stretching exercises & I love it. I shopped around quite a bit & this was hands down the best for flexibility & sound options. I find the interface a little confusing, but once a timer is set up, you can save under a unique name & it’s super easy to scroll through them. My only issue was finding tones that didn’t quickly become annoying when repeatedly repeated every 10 or 20 seconds & it took awhile to make sure they were consistent across my timers because I set them all up before settling on the sounds that worked best for my needs & they were ALL futzed up. Otherwise, once timers are set up, it’s awesome! In fact, I love this app so much that I’ve considered looking into how Siri voice command works just to make it work without touching because sometimes I accidentally turn it off or scroll to wrong timer when I’m laying on the floor with phone next to me.

5/5Keeps on task
I’m a dental hygienist and find at times I go over on my patients. I used the free timer 3 days this week. I set repeats for the halfway mark during my appointments to give a quick auditory clue that I may need to pick up the pace in order to be done on time. There are times I’ve missed the cue, maybe because our music is too loud or I’m actively conversing with my patient, but most of the time it worked for me. The tone I picked is recognizable to me but subtle enough that no patient has asked what the noise was. I believe I have to keep my phone out of sleep mode for it to work, but still exploring that. I’m not sure if it will be as usable when I have less than the standard hour for some patients during the day, but it works well enough that I already upgraded. I love that it is a one time fee, rather than a monthly or yearly pocket drain.

5/5Very Helpful
This is the best repeating interval timer I have found. Simple to set up. Great for timed cooking where you have to flip or add at the halfway point or more frequently. Especially useful with my smoker/indirect grill. Before I retired I would use it at work for all kinds of things where I wanted to check out processes or progress at regular intervals. The only on in my book is the limited number of different timers you can save.
