5/5Fantastic tool to have in hand
While I am not a pro using RegEx, I quick test on this App before writing something on my computer. It’s easier and faster rather than run the script every time. And since I (sadly) live with my phone next to me it has just become a fun pass time even if I don’t need to them... By doing (rather than reading the theory) you learn so much more and if you are like me that has just started with RegEx, having an app like this will help you in the process of getting your feet wet! Highly recommended

5/5Great, full-featured regex tool
I wanted to test a regex but didn’t want to connect to work to get a Linux window. Downloaded this app and voila. You can write your regex and write your data, both of which you can save, and it highlights the matches or does the replacements. It’s got examples and reference information. Font size is adjustable.

1/5Where is the app and my files? All hidden files!! :(
I was really enjoying this app until I went to backup my Regex files I’ve created in it. The iPad’s Files app cannot find the app or my Regex files. Why make them hidden?! The export option makes a mess of them. If you select Export All you get a file that’s not html but is full of HTML codes and everything is in quotes. If I can’t backup my Regex expressions to iCloud, then the app is not saving me any time. Please make your app visible! AND all of my Regex files I’ve created in your app. I shouldn’t have to buy a Shell to go on an Easter Egg Hunt to find my work. Geesh!! :((

5/5Great for practicing expressions on the go
I’ve never written a review on the App Store before, but I reached out to the developer and requested an export feature. Sure enough - it shows up in the next update! Regular Expressions are new to me, so it’s important that I can take my learning and practice on the go. This app is perfect for that. No fuss - just works.

5/5The best regex editor hands down
This app is a must if you need to whip up a regular expression without wasting time. It allows you to easily craft a collection of regex’s of varying techniques with individual sample source data. The developer is very responsive and generous to give this tool away for free.

(works on iOS 14.0 or later) Also in recent updates: • There's a "Share" button (under regex options) so you can quickly share your regex (along with any flags, test text and replacement text). • You can change the colors of the match highlight (works on iOS 14.0 or later). -
1.16.0
• A big change to how text highlight logic works. It should not provide much better performance and reliability. • Capture group coloring used to start with red, which was too harsh, it is now moved towards the end of the list of colors. • Removed the "Created" message which appears on screen when a new regex is added. • Added a "Select all" button for the test text. • Fixed an issue where some text fields would be too "smart" and change characters such as `...` to `…` or `"` to `“`. • Removed old third-party frameworks and switched to native code, which makes the app size smaller and improves performance.
