   My husband has Alzheimer’s and is no longer ambulatory. He enjoys having something to watch and/or listen to during his waking hours. Finding content on live TV and/or streaming apps that is both wholesome and enjoyable has become increasingly difficult. Redeem TV is a wonderful alternative and I hope that as it continues to add content that quality will not be sacrificed. That being said, I would surely appreciate its creators resolving app glitches that hinder immediate access to donor content. I’m particularly disappointed by the lack of accessibility to the third season of Vindication because it held my husband’s interest and attention. I still have hope that such issues will soon be resolved so all users can enjoy Redeem TV’s full content.

2. 4/5Bug that needs attention

   We love this app and use it all the time! However right now there is a bug that makes it very difficult to use the app. I tried to click on the app support but it takes me to the Redeem TV website to a page that says “404 error”. I am really hoping that the developer reads this review. When we try to watch a video, we can only watch it with the iPad upright and with the video filling only half the screen. If I try to turn the iPad in landscape mode, sideways, and click on full screen, the video gets very small and only fills 1/4 of the screen. No matter what we do it stays like this. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app to no avail. Really hoping that the developer reads this! Thank you so much and we really do love this app!

3. 4/5Good content, but interface needs a little work

   I love the content. Good, wholesome, Christian shows and no Hollywood rubbish. And no monthly subscription! My only complaint is that the interface could use some more work and options. The shows are well organized, and it is not hard to find what I need, but there are literally no customization options. I want an option to stream at a lower resolution because my internet connection is weak. A day/night option might be nice. And an option to not automatically play the next video in a series. Also, the app keeps going to portrait mode, which may be fine for phones but is annoying on my iPad. I want to keep it in landscape mode and not have to keep shifting the orientation of my iPad.

4. 1/5Bible believing Christians beware

   If you are a Bible believing Christian, beware. This app is filled with content that has religious apostasy. For instance: Catholicism, Scientology, and other unbiblical pseudo-christian religions. Catholicism is subject to the pope and his dogmas, not to Christ and His Word. Most of the content plants doubt in the minds of viewers of how dangerous these religions and worldviews can be. There are a few biblical programs but most of the content this app provides is not. We Bible believing Christians need to wake up. If we truly desire to honor Christ, we must Honor his Word. 2 Corinthians 11:14-15 KJV “And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. [15] Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.” John 8:31-32 KJV “Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; [32] And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” Ephesians 5:11 KJV “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.” Matthew 4:4 KJV “But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” John 6:63 KJV “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.”

5. 5/5Receiving Encouragement !

   I’m not big on watching TV or streaming movies. Why? Because of the values and agendas of Hollywood being forced on me IF I elect to watch a movie with an interesting title or preview. Only to be shown scenes that are inappropriate for any age. I didn’t tune in to watch two people sinning or taking life, or using bad language to communicate. I rather be encouraged that with faith all things can be a blessing. My own life hasn’t been easy, but honoring His commands (doing the right thing) is the path to life eternal. Redeem TV has brought to me uplifting and encouraging movies. I can gather the family around for movie night and let goodness and real life soak into our hearts, without fear that the values being shown are not appropriate for any age. Here’s one I highly recommend “Chain of Life”. I pray you’ll enjoy the show!
