1/5Customer service unavailable when you need it
I’ve been using RecieptPal for a while and when I need to contact the support reps, they are extremely rude. I’ve had one of the worst experiences with a rep who was very unhelpful and even went so far as to close my request before it was even resolved because he couldn’t find the answers. If the app works for you great, but if you find your self with any issues, good luck trying to get a clear response. I’m not sure if they outsource their workers but they either need more training or better customer service. They don’t need inputs that blatantly call me an “idiot” when I called them out with verifiable inputs. Oh additionally, not every receipt will be accepted even if you have all the criteria… I had the correct date range, the name of the merchant (including all the necessary information), and the amount paid but ReceiptPal still didn’t accept it. I escalated it to their customer service and that’s where this entire issue occurred. The idea is great to save receipts and get points for them but they’ll probably accept 3 out of the 10 you submit with valid fields which means your stuck using the app more than necessary. Im assuming they collect your receipts any way but won’t give you a reward so they can “pocket” the earnings on their end. I hope you have better luck with them than I have.

1/5Not worth it
First, these guys have about the worst app on the planet. It’s always thinking, you try to hit a button and it goes into swirly mode. It takes forever just to be able to start doing whatever you came to the app to do. Trying to take a picture of a real receipt, good luck with that. First of all, this is the only app that I think goes out of its way to try and find something wrong with your receipts. Even if there’s nothing wrong and every other app on the planet says it’s a good solid receipt out of these guys will always find at least one. Always. The app is so slow and ridiculous that it doesn’t even pay the triangle back and dispute it. Then there’s the rewards. I’ve been using it for years and it was kind of nice for a while even deal dealing with all the issues. There was a point a few years ago, where they reduced all of the points that you would get for submitting your receipts. OK, I get it. Now just recently they ran some campaign where they were trying to make it sound, as most of these places do, like they were going to make some changes to benefit us. B. S. It used to be you could get to about $100 gift card in a year maybe a little over if you completed all your cards every week throughout the year. They just changed that all. Greedy corporate policy I guess. They almost doubled the points needed to get the same level reward. Definitely not worth it. Been using it for a long time. But when places keep getting greedier and greedier, goodbye! For the amount of work you have to do, the rewards just aren’t there anymore.

1/5Went downhill fast - no longer worth the time. Find a diff app
I agree with all the negative reviewers before me that this app is pretty much terrible now. They’ve never fixed any of the multiple glitches/issues that have been going on for years but you could work your way up to a reward in a decent amount of time. They just changed that again. It now takes double the amount of points to get the same reward I used to get for years. Instead of 7,500 it’s now 12,500. That’s insane. They’ve also partnered with these dirt bag companies that offer you a “free prize” $30 gift card that lets you choose from merchandise that is absolute garbage - like cheap costume jewelry where the lowest priced item is $70. So you have to spend double the amount of your “free gift” to buy something they’d sell at Five Below. It’s actually insulting. I know you believe that these changes are going to make you more $, but you forget people don’t have patience for things that are irritating, glitchy and require too much work for too little reward. Like me, people will stop using the App as that time is better spent elsewhere. Plus, there are better receipt apps/websites to use. I’d name them here but I’m sure my review would somehow disappear if I did that. RIP receipt enemy.

3/5Slow and Small Payout
I have been using this appt for several years. It works as far as your weekly sign in and getting 100 points for automatic scan of your attached email and a handful of apps. It does require time because it takes longer than it should just to open the app. It takes time to submit a receipt. It literally goes through a process for each receipt submitted. You need to check in during the week so that you are able to get the maximum points. The most you can earn is 400 points per week. They only allow you to submit a max of 15 receipts which are good for 300 points and the receipts need to be for the week specified. They do not accept pharmacy or repair receipts. If they do not recognize something on the receipt then you won’t get your entire points receipts. I feel like I spend more time trying to get my points from them because their system invalidates receipts. They don’t notify you to correct the issue or resubmit the receipt(s). You will need to check your account regularly to make sure all your receipts were accepted. Lastly, you can only submit your receipts on Sun, Mon, and Tues. Overall, it’s a legit app and they are quick to issue your cash out for gift cards. It just takes several months before you can cash out because you earn points slowly and it’s limited to a maximum each week.

1/5DO NOT DOWNLOAD THEY WILL GET INTO YOUR PERSONAL EMAILS. THEY DID IT TO ME?!?!
They will probably delete this. They deleted my last one cause they didn’t like my last review. Apparently, if you write a bad review, it gets deleted so nobody sees it. But don’t worry guys. I already wrote the review for your game online. So now every single person in the whole world will see my review. Haha aholes. Jokes on you. You terrorists thought you were pretty funny deleting my review but I copied it and posted it somewhere else so f you. Oh and, I already copied this one too and I’m posting this too so everybody knows that you delete their reviews if it’s a bad one. After I’m done with you guys and your business, your going to be working for your employees. Your employees will run crap. You really think I’m scared of an illegal immigrant? Haha. Everybody is going to know about you guys. You guys want to be aholes and delete my review? Go ahead. I copied it and posted it somewhere else. And no. I’m not trying to make you think I posted it. I really did. I’m not 15. I’m 31. I’m not going to say something just to say it. I’m not stupid like you guys. And go ahead and delete it. I don’t care. But stay the hell out of my personal info. Someone at your business went into my gmail. And I know somebody did cause I got an alert saying you did. You guys aren’t to smart are you? Your lucky I don’t sue you for getting into my emails. Stay the hell out of peoples stuff. By the way, I did report you guys to the better business bureau for snooping through peoples emails. So have fun with that too.

For the amount of work you have to do, the rewards just aren’t there anymore.",

"body": "I agree with all the negative reviewers before me that this app is pretty much terrible now. RIP receipt enemy.",

"body": "I have been using this appt for several years. It just takes several months before you can cash out because you earn points slowly and it’s limited to a maximum each week.",

So have fun with that too.",
