5/5Honestly Shocking
It is honestly shocking how well this app works, it sounds like an exaggeration but it’s not. I have really tried to like the official app and it just wasn’t working well enough for me, so I had given up on ps5 streaming. Then I find this app when I was looking into pc streaming and the difference is actually crazy. If Sony really wants PS5 streaming to be a thing (and clearly they do with the PS Portal out) they would be smart to throw mad money at this person to lock them down and work this magic on the official apps. I’m literally so happy I can play my PS5 while my daughter plays in her playpen!!

5/5So Much Better Than Official App!
This is probably the first time I’ve ever written a review for an app. I almost had given up on Remote Play with my PS. I have decent upload and download speeds on both ends but for some reason still experienced horrible connections. It made no sense I was experiencing this. After some digging, I came across this app and I’m so glad I did! After configuring my router, I can now experience Remote Play as it should be experienced! Thank you so much for developing this app!! A HUGE PLUS that the app takes advantage of the whole screen on my phone!!! It drove me absolutely CRAZY when the official didn’t have this option.

5/5Better than Sony’s remote play app
Honestly this app kills Sony’s. The only barrier to entry is to get full access to what the app can do, you need to pay $6. But $6 is so worth it. There’s so many settings to tweak compared to the official app AND it works better. Seriously. I’ve been using the apps local connect option to play my ps5 from my bed or another room and it plays so well, I honest to god can’t tell its streaming. I’ve played fighting games ONLINE without noticeable latency issues, that’s how good this app is. Seriously if you are having issues with the official app or want a smoother remote play option, support this app. You can try it out for free, but spend the $6 to get all the options if it’s your fancy - 100% worth it.

4/5ALMOST Perfect
I recently hardwired my office which is on the opposite side of my house from the living room and I was skeptical and was reserved so I wouldn’t be disappointed if this didn’t work. IT DID! Using my Apple TV 4K, I played MLB The Show 22 (requires NO input lag in order to be good, I was good) and Spider-Man remastered. Bother flawless streams. I managed to load up Spider-Man at work using backbone one, but it was a little choppy (I’ll blame the WiFi at work) but still impressed that I was able to play almost like the PlayStation was meant for my phone. THE ONLY GRIPE I HAVE: No co-op; I do believe there is a way to program this so you can do remote play. Similar to how the controller works with Bluetooth, I feel there is a way to make the app recognize a second controller to then sign into another account, or to register the PlayStation again but with a different Sony account so that a connection made to that console will have both profiles recognized. Grill is very smart for pulling this off and I’m sure my idea was thought about (if not, give it a go ;)…). If the developer could confirm that they are working on figuring out co-op, I’ll buy the app but outside of supporting the developer, there isn’t much that is hidden behind a paywall. OVERALL: Great gaming experience, nice to play PlayStation again.

5/5Great app!! Great service!!
Never left a review on anything before. Felt this was a must. Been using this app for a couple weeks. Remote gaming from work for even longer. This is the best experience I have with mobile gaming. And keep in mind, while I’m at work I do not have the best connection. But it has worked at phenomenal resolution. With a few adjustments to settings, it runs as close to flawlessly as you could hope for when I’m 25 miles from my ps5. It’s amazing. With the other apps I always knew it was my phone because of performance issues. However, I forget I’m on my phone and I just game with this app. Support is great. Have a question? Pop over to the Reddit and post there. You will be answered very efficiently with effective answers. Great work by the team that made this.
