The Perry Weather app just got more powerful. Here’s what’s new: NEW FEATURE - Stormbridge This add-on feature connects real-world systems like splash pads, lights, PA systems, and more to your weather alerts and policies, so they can automatically respond to changing conditions. With Stormbridge, you can control equipment directly from the app. Toggle systems on or off manually, or automate responses based on your existing Perry Weather policies. No more driving across town to shut something down. IMPORTANT: Stormbridge requires a compatible smart relay controller. This is a separately purchased hardware product and must be installed to use Stormbridge features. DETAILS • Two hardware configurations are supported: - Add-on: Connects to an existing Perry Weather station. - Standalone: Includes built-in cellular connectivity and operates independently. • Access Stormbridge from the Hardware tab by selecting your weather station and tapping “Stormbridge.” • Customize automation, manual controls, user groups, and trigger policies from within the Stormbridge interface. What’s New: We’re Changing How Lightning Policies Work We're excited to bring you an update that simplifies and centralizes how your organization manages lightning policies. By creating a single source of truth, we're making it easier than ever to ensure consistency and safety for all users. - Streamlined Policy Management: Instead of manually setting up lightning zones via the radius sliders in the ‘Add a Location Page’, you will now simply select from pre-configured policies created by your organization's administrator. - Increased Consistency: To provide a unified and reliable experience for everyone, custom lightning zones created by individual users will be removed. Policies set by your administrator will migrate automatically, so no action is needed on your part. - Simplifying Workflows: Need to adjust a lightning zone? Please connect with your organization's administrator to request changes or additions to your list of policies. You can now view and run your Hardware Triggers on the go! Create and manage your Hardware Triggers on the web dashboard, and now you will be able to run triggers on your hardware units while out in the field with the Perry Weather app.

We have added a new feature centered around Heat Stress! When viewing a location, you will now see a Heat Stress visualization showing a forecasted range of either Wet Bulb Globe Temperature, Heat Index, or ambient Temperature. If your location is connected to a Heat policy, then the visualization will show detailed information on activity guidelines, a three day forecast, and more. This also adds richer hardware controls, such as a history of Hardware Events and cleanup around activating Hardware Triggers and performing unit tests.
