   Got this app because we live in the middle of nowhere Texas and the updates they do on X are great. I decided to support Texans doing Texan things. I got the ad free upgrade because you support people with dollars. Problem is that the app hates it if you don’t give them location access. It spits out an error like it cannot just pull the information from the last location you searched. There’s only one reason they would like to force you to use a gps location vs a location you set, and that’s so they can gather your info to sell. They may not be selling it, but the app not working smoothly without the gps location on leads me to believe that they really want that valuable location data. 2 stars once you have to enter your location EVERY time you open the app. If you want to see the radar, it starts in Pennsylvania even though it’s the TEXAS storm chaser app. If you’re gonna default it outside of Texas, at least make it Austin. Forecasts (once you enter your location every time) are good. Map is lacking, but you’re making improvements. Just make it so you can set the location and forget it and it’d be 4.5 stars

2. 4/5Good enough for what I need

   I use several weather apps since many of them are reading information from different parts of town. (I don’t stay in one spot. I visit around town.) this app does have a lot of ad’s which can be annoying. Was thinking of paying to get rid of the ad’s but not paying a subscription or a fortune just for that. I can’t even find the price. (They say if you have to ask it’s too expensive.) Otherwise it helpful and serves its need at times. Other reviews say paying for the product makes it more frustrating to use. I’ll keep as is.

3. 5/5Was our only warning!!!

   On March 19th, 2020 we had a tornado out here in west Texas. None of the news stations were covering our bad weather. Texas Storm Chasers were the ONLY ones sending out warnings. The tornado came down our street and obliterated houses. Because of TSC, I had my kids in our bathtub with helmets and a mattress. Had the tornado made it to our house, they would have literally saved our lives. Forever grateful.

4. 3/5Good app, but one i

   I am very upset with your app. Under location services there are only two options, never, and while using. The always feature isn’t there even though I feel it should be all the time. And it still thinks I live in Bryan, which is wrong, and I live on Highway 30 in College Station. Texas. Also, another problem I have with your app, is y’all are barely sending out push notifications. I think y’all need to send them out all the time. Could y’all please fix this? And please respond back immediately with all the updates? And the status updates? Would really appreciate it! Brandon Bunch, college Station, Texas.

5. 2/5What happened to the radar??

   I usually don’t write reviews but this really annoyed me. I’ve been using this app for over a year and while it’s not my favorite because the predictions aren’t very correct I mostly used it for the radar anyways, which is all janky now after the last update. I liked the different settings to customize the radar appearance and in my experience it was more accurate than the other weather app I have. There’s no slider to control the radar playback anymore, you can’t see the boundary for any warnings and it’s just overall more difficult and frustrating to use. Even when I go into the “… & more” icon in the bottom right and click on the radar there, it’s glitched and won’t let me use the slider for the playback on radar. It also shows a question mark in the middle of the screen and is super laggy when I try to zoom in or out. Not going to uninstall yet in hopes that it will get fixed but if it’s not better in a few weeks I’m uninstalling😔
