   We arrived around 8:17 pm & tried to open the door but it wouldn’t open. I signaled to the staff I could see and the woman turned her back to me. My husband called to see if they were closed and we could see 3 employees inside but no one came to open the door. One guy looked like he was doing inventory b/c he was counting. My husband then calls this location & I waved to the employees. It looked like the lights were dimmed so I didn’t know if they could see me. The woman inside smirked and turned away!! The woman answered the phone when my husband called & told him that they stopped making food. Just as we’re pulling out, a car with 3 people inside, come out and go to the door. The door now works and they enter, so we pulled back in & went inside. We were greeted by the one male employee and he informed us that they had limited options b/c they were closing in an hour but they did have most everything. He was very cordial and he waited on us. We saw 3 pick up orders pending and being made that were picked up, while we were there and 1 new order was still pending pick up when we left, so why were we led to believe that they were closed?!

2. 1/5Horrible app. Changes your address

   Ordered last pm. Somehow, our address was changed after hitting order from xxx ct to xxx dr which doesn’t exist. If you google xxx dr it shows our home. Less than one min after ordering, we noticed the error and contacted the supposed driver by phone # provided by you. It did not belong to anyone affiliated with doordash or Panda Express. We then called the restaurant. They said they would let the driver know. I then called doordash, your picked delivery method. They said they tried calling the driver and no answer. Obviously, they do have someway to contact her as they supposedly got the order to her. They said they’d take care of it. The driver was at the store for over 45 minutes according to the tracking app and I still was unable to contact her. Once she started moving, I could she when she arrived in my neighborhood. She drove to the entrance then left. I was standing outside the entire time. It took over an hour and 1/2 for her to key in delivered which it never was. Our neighborhood is only 82 homes, very small and only 4 streets. This person obviously had no intention of delivering. She never tried calling us. This was the first time my daughter was going to try Chinese food. She was extremely upset. this mad it very difficult also considering it was now almost 2 hours later.

3. 3/5I love Panda but app can have delivery issues.

   Make no mistake, Panda Express is one of my all time favorite places to eat so this review is not a reflection on the food itself. However, the app has caused drink delivery failures in at least 90% of my orders. I even tried ordering as a combo yet more often than not my drink is not there when I get it delivered and once I did an in store pick up and my drink wasn’t with my order. I had to pull up to prove to them I ordered a drink. I don’t know why the restaurant doesn’t get the drink orders in a way they fulfill them, but for some reason I’m always having to contact door dash to get a drink refund when I order from the app. Furthermore a dasher once told me they don’t get any of the notes so when I describe my office building they don’t get it which is why they tend to get lost. Not that my building is hard to find in any right, but those who don’t know the area aren’t getting guidance to point them to our specific location. Again, five stars for Panda food, it’s my safe and happy food, but this app needs a bit of reconstruction at least in the drink ordering area. So many missed drinks.

4. 1/5Poorly designed and nonfunctional

   This app has way more stars than it deserves. I don’t know how so many people are satisfied with this completely unusable app. I cannot order anything because every time I initiate an order by setting the pickup time and place, it just loads for a long time before telling me the order could not be placed. The loading times for anything in this app are nonsensical and absurd. I have to force quit the app then open it again to start over and hopefully it doesn’t get stuck on a loading screen again. Why the hell does it take so long to continue as guest? Like wth is it processing for so long to get past the initial screen? I can’t fast log in because autofilling the email always enters my password (which is fully visible i.e. security issue) instead of my email. Even when I have the cursor on the password field, autofilling it will replace my manually entered email with my password (again, it is visible) and still leave the password field blank. Also the map to find your location almost never works and also takes forever to load. This app has all the same terrible problems as their website too. Unbelievable that they screwed up such an important part of what could have been an excellent addition to their business model both on desktop and mobile.

5. 1/5Points disappeared and no one to talk with about it!

   I love Panda Express’ food. But this isn’t a good review, it’s a review about the app itself. For one, and this is shady as the day is long… there is NO and I repeat ABSOLUTELY NO way to speak with a person via chat or telephone for Panda Express support. Any attempt I have made to contact them fails because the ONLY way you can contact them is some faulty message through the app that they’re supposed to email you back, but they never do. Half of my 2000+ accumulated points magically disappeared one day and since the employees aren’t trained to know squat about the app, there is apparently nothing I can do to get my points back. No one responds to messages and the Panda number is a total JOKE. There is a prerecorded message and then it hangs up on you. Panda has great food, but their untouchable status irritates me to the point where I don’t want to eat their food anymore because I think it’s shady that they, and many other companies these days seem to think they can just go untouchable and not have to deal with the public anymore. “Give us money and when we screw up and give you a soggy mess you need to just deal with it, peasant! Oh and the 1000 missing points you had that disappeared.. deal with that too!”
