   We have the Nanit Pro and got both the free standing stand (used when our daughter was still in her bassinet) and the wall mount (used over the crib). We also have the travel stand. We literally use the Nanit every night wherever we are. I love the built in white noise option (as opposed to having another machine) and flip it to the birds sound in the morning as the rise and shine sound. I love that it tells you the temperature and humidity level and allows you to set alerts so you can ensure your child is sleeping comfortably. I love how easy it is to add caretakers to your account. We’ve added grandparents, nannies/ babysitters (and easily removed as appropriate), and even visitors whose babies napped in our daughters crib. We subscribed to the sleep insights. It’s also been really insightful to see in aggregate how our daughter is sleeping, daytime and nighttime. The sleep tips are super helpful as they are tailored to what Nanit is observing. Obviously the algorithm isn’t 100% accurate but it gives way more information about our daughter than I could have ever imagined. Nanit also compiles adorable “memories” like a collection of morning pick ups. Very fun to watch months after the fact. All in all, super glad we went with the Nanit and have been delighted with every aspect of our experience. Strongly recommend.

   We were gifted the Nanit for our baby shower and could not be more grateful. The price point was much higher then most so we would most likely not have invested in it. Have not used others so can’t compare to other brands or variation of models. The Nanit pro video quality is very clear in light and extremely clear in the dark, our room has black out curtains so even in that kind of dark room, picture quality is excellent. What we like most is the insights. It tracks things like wake ups, motion detected. I can review the video up to the past 48 hours to truly see how my LO’s sleep is going.. we learned he was starting to roll in his sleep a lot, something he doesn’t do as much awake as well as just study and discover his habits. We upgraded our plan to be able to add more caretakers. The free version only allows two caretakers. We needed to add our nanny and our long term family guests that come to help. My parents love that they still have access and can tune in all the way from Texas! The microphone is also extremely sharp, although I advise to shut off access to caretakers if you are having a serious conversation or need private time as the microphone will really pick up clearly voices even when far. We separately purchased the floor stand which we like because we can move rooms and haven’t committed the crib to one spot yet. All in all, now that I know, if I had to purchase myself I definitely would!

3. 5/5Must have for moms with anxiety!

   TLDR:must have for every parent, easy to travel with and gives such peace of mind. Only thing to consider is it does require a secure wifi connection. Absolutely love this camera! Have even purchased a second camera as I am now a mother of 2 under 2 and let me tell you the peace of mind I have with this monitor is unmatched! I love the having the insights especially with my first child because I was reassured that I could see my baby even while at work during his naps or when he and his dad are playing in the room. Because let’s be honest maternity leave in the US is a joke. In addition to being able to have peace of mind the sleep insights really aided us when sleep training our baby and not feeling like we were traumatizing him because we could clearly see that within one minute he would stop crying and start self soothing or playing with his stuffy with intermittent “whining” to see if one of us would come in. Bear in mind sleep training was not done until 1 year old when he had object permanence clearly mastered and a secure attachment to both my husband and I. Naps took a little longer to master. Purchased the stand and travel case as well! Love having it when in hotel rooms and airbnbs. Some hotel rooms however the wifi was not secure so nanit would not work. Small downside but still worth it in my opinion. Hope this helps. Plan on using until kids are in their preteens or simply transitioning it to a living room camera.

4. 4/5We love Nanit, when it consistently works!

   The Nanit has many great features that not all baby monitors have. For example, we love the sleep insights and stats on how sleep latency compares to other infants the same age, tips on how to help baby fall asleep on her own, etc. The notifications work well and promptly let us know when the baby is moving around or making noise, and we love how you can adjust the sensitivity. The downside: with more complexity comes more room for error, I guess—in some places we’ve visited, we simply can’t get Nanit to connect, even when not that far from the internet modem. Currently, our Nanit loses connection periodically so we don’t get consistent and continuous data from each night. Not sure if it’s related to the connectivity issues, but occasionally it counts the second nap as the start of the night and doesn’t seem to register that our baby was up for another couple hours after that nap ended (skewing her data for the night and across nights- such as bedtimes and how much time she spends awake in the night). In the grand scheme some of this is relatively minor given the main function being met most of the time (we are generally able to monitor our baby) but we wish it were more consistent and would expect a bit more reliability given the reputation and price of the product.

   As a first time Mom, this monitor has features I didn’t even know I needed until I discovered them in real time and I’m so grateful that we listened to recommendations for choosing the Nanit!!! In the newborn stages, we loved the diaper/bottle/breastfeeding/nap tracker in the app that my husband and I could both log and look at (before we were utilizing the Nanit monitor, as it was set up in his nursery and he was in a bassinet in our bedroom). Our son recently transitioned into his crib and I was so pleasantly surprised and excited when there was clips saved of each event (coughing, crying, waking up) from overnight in an activity log. Right on the main screen overlying the live feed it has an update that baby fell asleep, woke up, or was last attended to a certain number of minutes ago- which was very helpful as we were using the Ferber method for sleep training. When he was taken out of the crib the first morning, there was a summary of his night with a score of how well his sleep was and it’s been incredible to see how that changed over the past week- this many minutes to fall asleep, this many minutes crying, this many wake-ups, etc. It has made the very stressful sleep training/crib transition as smooth as possible and who doesn’t need that?!? There’s also options for even more sleep analysis and statistics with an upgraded plan. I’d give the Nanit monitor 12/10, would absolutely recommend!!

   wife has version 4.74 and works good, I have vers 4.75 and it wont load on my device for 5-10 min. same phone, same carrier, same wifi.

   Great on iPhone but Android has issues. Android used to work great, but now the camera will spin and try to load for a minute or longer. I can't afford to wait that long. Resetting this or my Internet does nothing. clearing cache and force stopping the app does nothing. Please fix whatever bug was introduced in the android version.

   ever since an update in 2025 ive been having reoccurring issues with the app not loading or sometimes freezing but mostly never loading. I have to uninstall and hope that is works on re install. I have an android but my husband's iPhone has neber once had an issue with the app and it works great. nanit fix this issue multiple people are having.
