3/5Health data reporting is inconsistent.
Still in the trial period with Omegas. One of the attractions is the health monitoring. Unfortunately, the app’s reporting is unreliable. I’ve had my hearing aids in all day long. My Apple Watch says I’ve completed 9,000 steps, the app only thinks I’ve only completed 5,300. It looks like the app simply decided to ignore about 2 hours of input. My best guess is that I left the app showing the hearing report and this caused it to ignore updates. Speaking of the hearing report, one simple annoyance is that the daily report is often wrong. Right now, the day report says that I’ve been wearing them 8 hours and 40 minutes, but if I switch to week view I see 11 hours and 46 minutes. These inconsistencies make it hard to put any faith in the numbers that the app reports.

5/5Bluetooth and MFI glitches
Since last update Bluetooth and MFI glitching. When streaming and a call comes through connection drops. Can’t turn aids on and off to reset. Have to do a hard reset by putting them in the charger. Sometimes connection drops during a call and iPhone goes to speaker. Will not reconnect unless placed on charger. This is a real pain to deal with. I called Starkey tech support and they claim it is an iPhone issue. I deleted the app and problems went away. Something in the app is wrong. Apple tech support thinks app needs to be updated to match changes to Apple IOS. I depended heavily on Bluetooth and MFI. Very frustrated. Since I posted. Starkey updated its app. Things are working good now. Connectivity is much better. Zoom and Microsoft Teams work good. Always had issues before. I appreciate the fast response from Starkey. With hearing loss in the profound range and I am a heavy power user I can’t do without hearing aids. My job requires a lot of online meetings and a lot of phone use. Can’t do without my hearing aids. You will be happy with Omega AI. Can’t wait to learn more about auracast and find ways to use it.

1/5So very disappointed
I tried the Starkey brand last year and lost and found my champagne colored hearing aid on a 1.5 acre desert property one time, and the app guided me to the T as to where my aid had fallen out, it was AMAZING. Purchased my second pair this year my Audiologist paired my aids after I updated my app. Two days later, I lost one aid in my house, and the app was not connected after the Audiologist had paired them only two days earlier, so I had to go on a blind search, NO BENEFIT of the excellent finder from the year before. So, I went back to the Audiologist and he paired the aids a second time. Again, a few days later, I lost one my desert property, again, no longer paired from 48 hours before, so money down the drain on the aids and THIS APP IS NOW THE WORST IN THE WORLD cuz it can’t stay connected to the aids. (With so much sun, I wear sunglasses and a visor in the desert, and I sometimes fling off my aids). Never Starkey hearing aids or their app EVERY AGAIN, the aids can’t stay connected to the app.

5/5Works great with Omega AI hearing aid!
So far the app works great! Very polished and responsive. Not buggy at all on my iPhone 16 pro. The only feedback I have is that I wish there was a toggle button for Tinnitus. I discussed this with my audiologist and learned that it takes more power/battery life when it’s on but I don’t need it on all the time, I only get tinnitus once in while from air pressure changes. So it would be very useful to have an option or setting to turn it on or off without needing to go back to the audiologist office. Also, changes to tinnitus profiles would be cool too. Also, why can’t we add music as a custom program? It seems it’s only for professional programs. Just kind of odd.

3/5We’re not dummies
If had this app for a couple of years. Audiologist told me that the EQ had more frequency controls but they were were limited to only three because some people don’t understand how to use them so because of that, I don’t get the option to have more EQ adjustment? I sure you could include the option to expand the EQ control controls for the tech savvy by allowing the audiologist to activate them through their computer or giving the tech savvy a simple toggle setting within the app?
