v1.5.6 Ever lose track of which server you're connected to when switching between multiple servers? You can now assign colors, icons, and tags to your hosts. Color-code your servers — red for production, green for development — and identify them at a glance in both the host list and terminal tabs. You can also add tabs for different hosts directly from the sidebar, making multi-server workflows smoother. The host setup screen has been redesigned. A clean, simple form shows only the essentials. Advanced settings like port forwarding and jump hosts are tucked away until you need them. The new "Add & Connect" button lets you register and connect in one step. SSH connection errors are now easier to understand. Instead of technical error codes, you'll see clear guidance like "Connection refused. Please check the hostname and port number." — so you know exactly what to fix. v1.6.0 You can now use your favorite fonts in the terminal. Import any .ttf or .otf file from the Files app — including Nerd Fonts like JetBrains Mono, FiraCode, or HackGen Console NF — and use it instantly. Fonts stay inside MTerm, no system installation required.

v1.7.0 Markdown editing and preview just got more powerful. In addition to the prompt editor, you can now preview Markdown directly from the server file editor. Check beautifully rendered results in real-time while editing READMEs or scripts. We've added support for Mermaid diagram rendering, allowing you to pinch-to-zoom and pan even large charts. Furthermore, link rendering has been improved, so badge images and linked images now display correctly. If you're using a hardware keyboard, you can now press `CMD + S` to save quickly, greatly enhancing the overall editing experience. Other improvements: - Fixed a bug where the screen unintentionally scrolled to the top when using Codex or Antigravity CLI. - Improved the Prompt Vault UI/UX (you can now save directly from the preview screen). - Disabled automatic smart dashes and smart quotes conversions that interfered with code editing. - Enhanced multilingual support on the connection settings screen. - Fixed scroll behavior and layout issues for Mermaid diagrams.

v1.8.0 Preview web projects directly in MTerm. The server file editor can now preview HTML with project-relative CSS, JavaScript, images, ES modules, dynamic imports, and JSON fetches—without starting a local web server. With mterm-shell v0.2, run `mterm view index.html` over SSH to open the page in MTerm while keeping your terminal connected. Install the Agent Skill and ask Codex, Claude Code, Gemini CLI, or Antigravity CLI to open an HTML file for you. Also new: - Keep tabs and sessions separated by registered host and switch between multiple SSH hosts more reliably. - Return to existing terminal tabs after visiting Home. - Optionally prevent device sleep while MTerm is in the foreground. - Configure scrollback history from 500 to 50,000 lines. - Stronger SSH host-key checks, safer remote-file saves, and many stability fixes.
