1. 4/5Good App Needs Improvement

   The app is an overall good app that is easy to use. Occasionally the website seems to crash and no images can be retrieved. This condition has lasted as long as a day or two but most of the time it is back up in a few hours. I have never permanently lost any images. The album feature is completely useless. If images are saved to an album and then deleted from the daily accumulated images they are also deleted from the album. When images from an entire day are selected to be deleted the entire image becomes darkened to the point that details cannot be easily seen. This requires an extra step of reviewing the images before they are selected for deletion. The Browning and Tacticam app are much better in that the images stay bright and clear. The Moultrie delete feature is accessed when a series of three dots… appear at the bottom of the screen overlaid on other characters. Touch the three dots and the delete feature is accessible. There should be a trash can icon at the top (like most other apps)to make this much simpler and faster. These may seem like small things but when going through large numbers of images daily they become quite an annoyance.

2. 5/5Wonky cell service here and there but works dependably for the larger percentage of time.

   Overall we love Moultrie and their customer service is excellent once you get past the AI barrier that insists you use when you’re connected via phone. We’re having problems with video downloads when there’s bad weather, sometimes when the weather’s fine but not as much. We have their solar panel as a backup which really helps save on batteries. We depend on quick downloads when we’re trapping bears. It’s important for us to respond quickly and efficiently when one gets snared. Rain and bad weather does not help. We understand this is a common problem with all cell service providers. We definitely get a lot of good quality pics and videos. Which helps us pattern game. We’ve had a couple of Deltas crash out on us recently and the problem with that is they allow us to use SD Cards which captures videos dependably. Though the Edge models keep taking pics as long as there’s a dependable power source and even if you turn them off you get all those pics back when you restart them later on. That’s a big deal to us. So the trade offs are real, but not a game changer for us. We’ll continue using Moultrie as long as we keep getting advantages like these. Hope it helps

3. 5/5A Must Buy

   I had bought this product with a bunch of unanswered questions regarding the products performance and durability as well as the worth and value of a review in the good regards to this particular product. What I have come to find out is that this product is without a doubt an absolute must buy in depth detail of product when navigating through the platform and we’re not, this is not only teaches you and emoji you to understanding and enjoying the product, but rather the products views and interaction between it and other living wildlife. The detail in the pixel imaging is above what I expected well above that’s me being modest not to mention the audio and sound receiving abilities. Is Crystal clear if you or anyone for that matter has any questions on whether or not they should purchase this to let me save you the hassle in the head don’t wreck your brain over trying to figure out if you need it or if it’s even worth it just do it. I bought one and after one week till about two weeks of interaction with the wildlife in the camera, I went back and bought 15 more because my clientele that comes out for guided hunts, but not shut up about it. Thank you to the issue and make her of this amazing piece of hardware well done.

4. 1/5Disappointed to say the least

   Understanding that this is a platform for the App, let me start there. Having browsed most of the complaints (reviews) I have yet to come across any help from this developer or responsibility for the numerous problems associated with it. Everything is either “this is not a platform for the camera” well sorry but it is as you are part of the system and should own up to that and maybe speak with MoultrieMobile to see if this can be fixed. You fault Microsoft as well try doing the above with them also and fix the problem. It’s easy to point fingers, success comes from demanding it. Now on to my review, pay attention to the other reviews as we have all experienced some of the same problems. My biggest complaint on the app is pictures uploaded to the server and not refreshing in the app. The app normally crashes or just sits and spins and then will log you out and ask for your credentials or refresh and tell you there are no pictures. The camera itself is laughable for a moultrie product and I was quite disappointed by the quality they have put out. Testing was nowhere near complete prior to this thing hitting the market. I have stood, jumped, crawled, and ran in front of this thing for it to not take pictures. All cellular issues aside this thing is a camera and if the server is jacked up this thing has an SD card that should be saving my images. Nope doesn’t work like that. I’ve pulled the card and read it on my laptop to find the same thing as the server no pictures. Don’t buy this product unless your a gluten for punishment or have money to throw away.

5. 1/5Terrible app

   The cameras themselves are ok, but the app is the worst, most un-userfriendly app that I’ve had for trail cam monitoring. I’m pretty tech savvy and the way the all is setup it’s almost like a 75 year old guy made it. There are options that would be very convenient that aren’t even offered. You have to look at your pictures from all your cameras in one library. They are not separated by date, you have to open the picture and see what date it was taken. I’ve had many times where a “new” picture pops up from the past that wasn’t originally shown that day, but other pics from that day sent already. Pictures also disappear from the library so you better screenshot them. The most maddening thing was when my camera went over the pic number for the plan I was paying for and didn’t reset after the 30 days. It tells you how much longer you have on your 30 days, and mine said 0 for 2 weeks. The customer service rep I dealt with had no knowledge of their product or their service plans. It took about 6 emails for her to realize they were in the wrong. I have cancelled my yearlong subscription for the 2 cameras and have to wait until Oct to stop paying for their “service” It’s not the camera and app setup you are looking for. There are several others in the market that are 10 times better. I’d steer WAY clear of Moultrie.
