5/5It’s so great!!
I’ve been using the new MiniMed Flex pump with the iPhone app for over a month, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The transition from my 780G pump to the new app-based interface was incredibly smooth. The app is so intuitive that I was comfortable using it immediately. The biggest advantage is convenience. I rarely need to take my pump out of my pocket anymore because nearly everything I need can be done right from my iPhone. Delivering a bolus is faster, easier, and much more discreet than ever before. MiniMed has truly brought insulin pump therapy to the next level with this system. It feels like a modern, well-thought-out product that finally gives users the smartphone experience we’ve been waiting for. The developers deserve a lot of credit for creating an app that is both powerful and remarkably easy to use. Thank you to the MiniMed team for continuing to innovate and improve the lives of people living with diabetes. This has been a game changer for me.

1/5No instinct support and more
Even though it says support, it does not support the instinct and Flex together. Would it really take that much work to change the notes from 5 days ago? Kind of confused why I’ve received the pump yet no app to use out and you have 30 days to send the old pump back or they well charge thousands of dollars! So as stated I have a pump I can’t use and the training for it if broken since the website is just blank and keeps trying to load. Also you can’t switch sensor mid 15 days so you either need to wait till time is over or waste the sensor and put a new one on. Don’t call support because you be on hold for hours and no one picks up no matter how many times you call! Come on Medtronic’s you’re a billion dollar company, get your house in order with releasing things and supporting them and the end user.

5/5Very user-friendly
The MiniMed app has been a game changer. It’s incredibly convenient to see glucose and insulin pump information all in one place, making it easy to stay informed throughout the day. The app is intuitive, reliable, and gives me greater confidence in managing diabetes.

3/5Needs work
Getting used to this from the old 780g/Minimed mobile. So far, just some visual complains. I would prefer the battery/infusion set icons reflect the levels rather than being solid green. The alerts are more annoying compared to the 780g. There doesn’t seem to be a widget for this app yet. And, lastly, it was confusing how I had to set everything in the insulin settings to 00:00-00:00 instead of 00:00-24:00

5/5Flex app
Very user friendly, works great. I have not lost connection and app has always been available. (Even when in Europe x 14 days, loved the automated time change!) I do not use my pump anymore, goes in my pocket or clip and stays there. Life gets better with Minimed!
