   After reading the most recent reviews, I was a bit skeptical but I decided to chance it. I placed an order at 8:00 pm and the app said the *liquor store near me was open and the delivery would be to me in less than an hour*. Great. I placed my order. When I went to my email to check for my confirmation, to my surprise (and disappointment) Minibar said the supplier was closed and my order would be placed tomorrow, at 12 pm, when they opened. Naturally I was enraged bc I did not want the delivery tomorrow, I wanted it today. And I also felt that they misled me bc they should have told me the supplier was closed BEFORE I paid. And yes, they charged me! So I sent them an email telling them to cancel my order and refund me now, only to receive an automated email. Less than an hour later I received a call from an unknown contact which I assumed was Minibar calling to address my ‘not so friendly’ email. To my surprise it was a delivery man telling me he was downstairs with my order! I was pleasantly surprised. All of this to say, if u receive that email don’t think all hope is lost. You may still receive your order. Thanks Minibar!

2. 5/5Definitely recommend!

   A friend of mine told me about this delivery service so I definitely wanted to try it ASAP! I couldn’t believe a liquor delivery service existed and more so that they delivered to my address! (We live at 1604 & Potranco and that’s usually out of the delivery service area for most delivery services!) Anyway! I placed my order and it was delivered within the hour! They even called me to let me know that one of the liquor bottles that I ordered wasn’t in-stock and asked me if I wanted to order a different one in its place. Very friendly. The app did let me know before I placed my order that if I didn’t provide my ID to show that I’m 21 & over that they would charge me a restocking fee, that was good to know ahead of time. The driver was very friendly and I have no complaints all around! The only thing I would SUGGEST is that the app provide a way for us to contact the driver for any last minute changes. It would also be nice to be able to go back into the app to see what the estimated delivery time is. Adding both those options would perfect this delivery service in my opinion!

   I ordered my boyfriend some beer as a gift 5 states over for his move in day. I texted asking for an estimated delivery time since it wasn’t on the app and not only did they immediately respond with my delivery time, but my boyfriend had given me the wrong address since he was just moving in and didn’t know it; I texted the number again letting them know and they updated the system, and called the store for me verify the change of address. It was still delivered only 5-10 minutes later. Definitely recommend using the text number for issues for immediate response and resolution of issues. Was also still delivered in under an hour as promised. Will definitely be using again!

4. 1/5The worst don’t do it in Dallas

   The delivery driver may not even come to your home. You'll be charged and you may never receive your order. You also won’t receive your refund for up to 10 days. The delivery driver lied about why he didn’t delivery my products. His account of why he didn’t come up was untrue. He said the call box did not work. The call box works fine I use it daily. It was clear he was too lazy to come upstairs. I waited two hours for that delivery. I will never use this service or go to that liquor store ever again. Mind you I lived across the street from the liquor store and use the service twice a month. If I went downstairs to meet this person it would defeat the purpose of delivery since at that point I could go across the street and get the wine myself and save the upcharge. Also, this is not the first occasion where the business gave me the wrong item or took well over an hour. l believe mini bar should work with Goody Goody in uptown Dallas at this point because this liquor store is not up to par. I believe since minibar is not located in town and work with a local business they are out of touch with the local patrons. Star liquor is a completely subpar liquor store. Unprofessional and their delivery driver “Sam” was disgraceful. He could care less that I would cancel and contact minibar or his employer. He knew ultimately nothing would come from his poor lazy behavior. He actually told me to contact minibar and gave me his name. His flippant behavior speaks volumes. It does ultimately reflect minibars reputation as a whole working with liquor stores such as this one. Very dissatisfied and will continue to post reviews on as many websites as I can.

5. 1/5Horrible experience and will take your money

   So, I am writing this review as my issue has yet to resolved. I ordered 2 bottles of liquor using Minibar mainly because one of the bottles was a unique release 4 Roses. Not only was the delivery driver very late, they were also very rude. I blew this off as they did deliver. However, upon receiving my order I noticed the unique bottle I purchased was just a normal bottle of yellow label 4 Roses, which I did not order. I reached out to mini bar and the driver came to pick up the order and refund me and would take 3-5 days to refund. A week later still no refund so I contact customer service and they inform me that the refund got “hung-up” and it is still processing and would now be an additional 3-5 days before I am refunded…. I still have yet to be refunded nor, have I been contacted by the mysterious Ops Manager who was going to be notified. If and when I ever get refunded, I will most certainly delete this app and warn all potential users to avoid this app at all costs, as there as many similar apps that provide much better customer service and likely do not steal your money.
